Is Digital Identity the real use case for crypto?
With all the talk of regulation, perhaps it is time to develop around it.
Digital identities could be the answer.

Monero is useful to do untraceable transactions. Digital Identity coupled with Privacy coins would help us fight the regulations. ✌✌

Got to be a lot more than just a couple privacy coins.
We need a full blown digital ID system that is out of their reach.

That's true. We need the right set of tools to go around the restrictions. It's going to be a long fight.

They are getting more information daily about us. They can find 95% of us very easily as we leave so much information through our trades, IP or even CEX.

It also doesn't help that most people enthusiastically put their lives on display by using the social media products of Big Tech and Web 2.0. Then there are photos for facial recognition.

That is why the industry needs to come up with ways to disrupt the paths that people follow.
Having "bridges to nowhere", at least from the followers standpoint, is a good place to begin.
Follow a chain, see a swap, and where did it go?

Actually it is on the contrary. Regulation is aimed to bring transparency and privacy coins are in the opposite direction. The difference is clear.

I feel like we are about to validate all the basement dwellers who pretend to be women online....
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
lol true
Back when I was a gamer the running joke was that MMORPG actually stands for Many Men Online Roleplaying Girls

Hahaha yup, some 35 - 40 year old still residing in their mums basement whose 220 pounds but online is some 25kg 20 year old girl in skimpy attire usually a fire mage. Lmao ah man. This stuff was prolific in the 90s and early 00s

Maybe that will make up for the validation they did not receive as children.

Digital identity might solve the legislation demand and reduce frauds to an extent, however it has it's own disadvantage. Transactions can now be attributed to someone and it might cause security concerns for whales
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's OK for transactions to be tied to a serial number, but it's a problem when they are tied to a person's identity. The excuse given for the regulations is to prevent crime, but it's really a way to dominate the population into submission.

Exactly. A control that will enable them to task individuals base on their cryptocurrency assets
I believe it is a solution but it doesn't stop people from getting doxxed. Wouldn't this mean that you can't even tell people who you are online anymore?

In movies like Total Recall from 2012, you can see how everything is digital, I think in a few years we could be like this.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The 2012 version of Total Recall was bad. It's OK for it to be made different from the original movie, but it was just unbelievable in ways which were too distracting for proper enjoyment of the movie.
The original Total Recall was also before Peak Arnold was reached.

You're right, it lost a bit of the sense of what the original wanted to convey.

There are multiple ways to earn Passive income in crypto. You still have to do the bare min work but it's not much. I think I have tried all of them.
What about you guys?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It takes a lot of work to earn passive income.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I agree with you. Many people are confining themselves to buying the dip and selling during the bull. There is more to crypto than that. It all about making the necessary research and utilizing the legit ones.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's too bad it doesn't state a way for people who don't have money to get started. Most of those approaches require money before you can earn a decent amount.

The article didn't mention faucets, but many people starting out in crypto will run into them thinking they are good for passive income or at least "free crypto."
Faucet sites are advertised as a way to earn "free crypto," but they are costly in time. It takes a long time to earn enough crypto to be able to actually use it.
Then there are the withdrawal minimums attached to these faucet sites. It takes a long time to accumulate sufficient Satoshi to reach the Bitcoin equivalent of USD 10.
If the faucet is made the right way, it can be a fun diversion. For the time needed to earn passive income, it may be a waste of time.

Yea but the money from faucets tend to be fairly small. Of course if the crypto price goes up, you might have a good bag.

I am trying some of them, I am proud LOL
