Over the weekend, Bitcoin moved higher. It is now targeting $50K. We will see what happens if it gets there.

It could happen. We are not in uncharted waters with Bitcoin.
I am not sure what they are worth but the Bitcoin forecasters are putting $100K on the table by the end of the year.

$100K looks like a distant dream from where we are standing right now. But who knows. It's crypto!
When bitcoin rallies, there's no stopping. Moreover, 2021 seems like a great year so far. The other half must not disappoint. Fingers crossed!

It is but it is really not that big a deal for crypto nor Bitcoin. We had a 50% drop at the drop of a hat.
A nice run up so far but it a double from here is no uncharacteristic.
Neither is a 60% pullback either.

That's true T. It can go anywhere from this point onwards but we are good since it is going up overall. Ups and Dips are parts of the process.

Ah, you've gotta love human beings and our predictable ticks.
Check out this updated Bitcoin chart with just simple support/resistance lines drawn at the major 00 psychological levels:
All the way up, those 00 levels are respected, for no other reason than because they're easy for the human brain to get excited about.
As soon as 50K goes, I can't see it taking long to reach 100K Bitcoin.

Yea those psychological levels always throw me off. Sometimes I can't figure out whether or not I should just use known levels of supports or the psychological numbers.

Wow. That's great to know. Can't imagine what will happen once it reaches 100K. People are going to go crazy and then start investing in it. 😂
I am BTMFD but there seems to be no dip so I am buying daily in tiny bits.

What do you mean there was no dip?
We dipped 50% from 60K in April, to 30K in July.
You had 3 months to BTMFD ;)
But as we haven't even come close to making a new high yet, we're still technically inside the dip.
So keep MFB-ing!

LOL, that's true. Anything below ATH is still cheap. Bitcoin is programmed to go in one direction in long term. ✌ Safest bet in crypto.

I do think the 50k level will reach. Whether or not it holds, I do not know in the short term though.

I can still recall the hand-wringing when Bitcoin was in the 30K range. They were ready to bury crypto but we knew better. Good to see this rebound.
