Canadian city to use heat from Bitcoin mining for commerical properties.

This is interesting.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That's an interesting use case. How much heat would disappear from transferring it around? I still think it would prevent use from using gas/coal for heat.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That extra heat has to go somewhere, and the miners had already paid for it. This could work for everyone.

Interesting development, there appears there is nothing Bitcoin can't do these days. Soon people will be eating it.......

Well now, spending all your cash on Crypto would definitely send you down a spiral of weightloss lol

You wouldn't even need to do that! Just divert money each day which would have gone to 1 overpriced coffee or 1 value meal. Do that each day, let DCA do its work, then watch your crypto stack grow.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Lol. I quite agree with you on this. Cryptocurrency has offered users the opportunity to only invest their money in the right thing.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That's interesting

The other day I got a Brave ad about a heater that earns you crypto. When I looked into it I realized it was actually a mining rig with a fan to repurpose the heat generated.

Quite clever even though they did get a lot of backslash for the way they advertise it lol

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Haha! Milk as much as we can. Making mining on the mountains and the colder regions much cooler. 😋

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Seems like a pretty good use-case to me...

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Well for the present cold season, it is good development I hope they also have a solution for the waste heat when the other seasons comes. Also there energy should better be green

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

This is a very interesting project, because during the winter the heat generation can be used for many things.

As they do in France.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Like the science says, energy can not be created nor destroy but can be transfer into another form of energy, great to see what Canadian plans are on heat from Bitcoin mining machine.. the question is, who get paid? The miner that release the heat to the environment, those that convert the heat for use or the government since the bill of generating that heat had been paid for?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The answer lies on whether the miners are initially making use of the heat before now. Secondly since the government have plans for the heat, they can come to an agreement with the miners on possibly discount on taxation just to use their waste heat. The government will be the ones to pay for the heat transfer. The law of thermodynamics will be applied just as you said to ensure that energy won't be lost but changed to a firm conducive for the environment.

Sighted this and looks like Bitcoin rocket is upcoming... What do you guys think about this certification.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It is not an approval to trade but is a great step forward.

We know it is coming now. That is what many were waiting for.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Great step indeed!

Rather than promote a tweet, I will promote this buzz from @honeysaver of a tweet about someone's experience with Bitcoin :

Only a serious fool is selling bitcoin

The third largest #Bitcoin Whale sold 1500 BTC at $56K and then bought them back at $57K lol

I don't think it is right to call such a person a fool.the fact is that one may only be in Bitcoin for profit and as such he is entitled to sell for profit whenever he deems fit.
He may only have himself to blame when the price skyrockets far above the prove at which he sold last.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

No one is called a fool for being in crypto only to make a profit, and everyone is entitled to sell their crypto for a profit when there is profit to be made.

That's not what happened with the 3rd largest BTC whale. Whoever that person is sold low and bought high. That person lost USD 1.5M.

If we don't want to call that person a fool, then we can at least say that person made a foolish decision which proved to be very costly. Either way, that LOL was earned.

Bitcoin projections are nothing new.

Interesting that it comes from Bloomberg, an outlet that blasted cryptocurrency for years and were one of the main purveyors of FUD about Bitcoin.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I think that is the number most people are looking at for BTC. A lot of money is on the line for $100k at the end of the year.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I won't say that this is a huge predictions because Bitcoin has the audience and support it needs to reach such height. We only hope to see it happen soon.

BITCOIN ETF APPROVED

It wasnt a major bank either.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yea I was surprised it wasn't a major bank either.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

To an extent, I believe that this is a good incident in the Bitcoin market because it shows that SEC are not against Bitcoin as a crypto currency. I just hope that the bull that have started will last for longer time .

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

There is a lot of this going around.

Microstrategy and Tesla are sitting in huge gains after the run up in Bitcoin.

Those in early are reaping many of the benefits.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Could this be part of the reason why the price of Bitcoin has started a massive rise ? Well, I doubt so because the Bitcoin chart has shown signs of such bullish trend prior to this news, however news likes this strengthens the market and gives investors more reason to hodl.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Well I think it's a good idea for Square. If we do get 100k by the end of the year, that is like a 50% profit anyways

I've been seeing a lot of posts lately about Google teaming up with Bitcoin but haven't really been able to pinpoint anything worth wild on the subject. Am I missing something? or is it a bunch of fluff talk with nothing to back it up?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

From what I can see, I have found this post. It seems Google Play and Bakkt are partnering up.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Same here but most times some of this news click baits aimed at drawing traffic, some are mere speculations. If a news is not from official handle of a body, I don't usually believe it

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It can all be summed up in two words: FOMO and FUD.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Rumor has it that a number of Bitcoin ETFs will be approved next week.

I do not know where people get this stuff but we will see how accurate it is.

We only need to ways 7 days to find out.
