2/ Central banks already have their own stablecoin, they are called reserves. This is a bank instrument that is pegged to the unit of currency and redeemable in banknotes. These are only available to banks who use it to settle.
3/ CBDCs are not in the interest of central banks. They do not need them. Instead, it is politicians who are frothing at the mouth to get them. Here is where we see the struggle for power. Yet developing one isnt going to work.
4/ A more likely path could be for a government like the US to simply let Circle advance with USDC and then incorporate that into its control. It can do this through regulation or, worse, by effectively making it a GSE.
5/ This could include having Circle housing all of it backing assets at Treasury, putting it firmly under the control of the government. This is the Trojan Horse Congress could use. It is also much easier then trying to form its own coin.
The CBDCs might have a chance with regulations with the law. Crypto might be a solution, if the ports are not blocked. Cash also, even if is not actual tender any more. Albanians used DM years after Euro was introduced.
The USDC in Nigeria has suffered setback to its usage over the many months after its creation. I only wonder whether the government do not have competent hands in advisory or they just choose to do something that has no future.
The banks don't want a CBDC and it's the government that wants it. In the end, it's a battle of control and I still think they need to fully stress test the system before they roll it out. Otherwise, it will be a disaster

Real-time and smooth Notifications needed just like Twitter, we should not even have to refresh it, it should be that buttery smooth. if you fix the notifications tab, the UX will get a lot better.

Traditional Web2 projects need to pay people to build things for them. On Hive. it's the other way. People -really- want to build on top of Hive. What a difference!
People must be "crazy" to build without pay... right? It was one of the things I struggled to see as well. At some point, I realized that Hive has the potential to take on a completely different approach to matters like that.
You see, it is us people, let's take @Taskmaster4450le as an example of the many out here, who give so much to the community. I actually am cheering for him to get paid (or an award). But hey... that's when I realize I have voting power.
It is a powerful way to show appreciation to those who you value and those who bring value.
With LeoThreads for example, it is quite astonishing to show this kind of appreciation, on short form content, which are basically NFTs.
We're all pieces of the puzzle. And by growing the Hive Blockchain with dApps like Threads. It will enforce, empower, and enhance the sole foundation that we're -all- transacting on. Even if you don't like it: this is the network effect.
Not trying to simp here, but Hive is an example of how Blockchain is done right. And those who understand this show this through the continuous development of dApps on top of it. I'm just getting excited for the time to come.

Setting up my first container:
This instantly brings up an easy fix to navigate tabs/threads etc on #Hive as we deal with 1.8-second block confirmations.
Currently: "Username + on Threads" as the title of our tabs, it would be more efficient for users to browse through Threads if "Prompt of Thread" is displayed.
Users would consume and create content much faster (as navigation improves).
Canceling KeyChain transaction
Disconnected Keychain users who have written a Thread and push the 'Thread' button will have their Thread disappear. (cache / signer / checker)
If you're going crazy: CTRL + Z in text field recovers it.

Just took a look at that container and think I understood some of the benefits, for one, makes replying easier. Since I've increased my threading, I'm kinda struggling to keep up with the notifications...
The notifications can get overwhelming. I answer then all and then have to start all over again.

2/ Central banks already have their own stablecoin, they are called reserves. This is a bank instrument that is pegged to the unit of currency and redeemable in banknotes. These are only available to banks who use it to settle.
3/ CBDCs are not in the interest of central banks. They do not need them. Instead, it is politicians who are frothing at the mouth to get them. Here is where we see the struggle for power. Yet developing one isnt going to work.
Who do you think will gain the upper hand in months to come? The central bankers? or the politicians?
In such a scenario, how do you foresee the crypto space will respond to it?
4/ A more likely path could be for a government like the US to simply let Circle advance with USDC and then incorporate that into its control. It can do this through regulation or, worse, by effectively making it a GSE.
5/ This could include having Circle housing all of it backing assets at Treasury, putting it firmly under the control of the government. This is the Trojan Horse Congress could use. It is also much easier then trying to form its own coin.
The politicians will try to have it their way and probably win it. It would be interesting to see how it all plays out.

The CBDCs might have a chance with regulations with the law. Crypto might be a solution, if the ports are not blocked. Cash also, even if is not actual tender any more. Albanians used DM years after Euro was introduced.
The USDC in Nigeria has suffered setback to its usage over the many months after its creation. I only wonder whether the government do not have competent hands in advisory or they just choose to do something that has no future.
The banks don't want a CBDC and it's the government that wants it. In the end, it's a battle of control and I still think they need to fully stress test the system before they roll it out. Otherwise, it will be a disaster
