O Palmeiras não resistiu à série de decisões do mês de agosto e acumulou duas eliminações precoces em duas semanas. Primeiro para o Flamengo, nas oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil; agora, para o Botafogo, também nas oitavas, da Conmebol Libertadores.
Com isso, o Verdão terá apenas o Campeonato Brasileiro para disputar no último trimestre da temporada. Um cenário inesperado, justamente no ano em que o clube fez um dos maiores investimentos recentes em contratações: cerca de R$ 192 milhões.
Foram oito contratações em 2024, um recorde na gestão do diretor Anderson Barros, empatado com 2022. Especialmente na janela de meio de ano, as contratações foram de impacto: Felipe Anderson, de volta ao Brasil após 11 anos na Europa, Maurício, destaque do Inter, e Giay, aposta do San Lorenzo, da Argentina.
Na janela de começo de ano, o clube buscou Aníbal Moreno, Bruno Rodrigues (que perdeu praticamente a temporada toda com duas lesões no joelho), Caio Paulista, Lázaro e Rômulo.
Dos oito contratados, Caio foi quem teve mais destaque nesta sequência mais dura.
O ex-são-paulino cresceu a partir da lesão de Piquerez, mas vinha tendo um 2024 discreto. Aníbal Moreno, um dos principais nomes do Verdão, ficou no banco contra o Botafogo e entrou no segundo tempo por opção de Abel Ferreira.
Já os outros reforços não entregaram ainda o que se esperava quando foram anunciados. Isto fez com que o Palmeiras tivesse um desempenho irregular principalmente neste mês, que definiria os rumos da equipe no restante do ano.
– Foi um mês que sabem de metade das coisas, um mês que começou pela dureza do sorteio, é sorte, é o que é. Tivemos problemas físicos dentro do time, outros emocionais. Só consegui ter este elenco 80% só agora, infelizmente – declarou Abel Ferreira.
O retrospecto alviverde em agosto é de: duas vitórias, dois empates e uma derrota. Um triunfo foi contra o Flamengo na Copa do Brasil, insuficiente para reverter a eliminação, e outro no Brasileirão, domingo, contra o São Paulo.
As eliminações nos mata-matas foram antes do que previa o clube ao montar o orçamento da temporada. No documento, o Palmeiras projetava atingir as quartas de final tanto na Copa do Brasil quanto na Libertadores.
As eliminações não chegam a impactar tanto as finanças, já que o Verdão teve no primeiro semestre um superávit de R$ 25 milhões, bem acima do déficit de R$ 80 milhões orçado no mesmo período.
Mas a pressão aumenta para o Brasileirão. Com só o campeonato nacional a disputar, o Palmeiras agora busca o tricampeonato consecutivo.
O time tem 41 pontos, na terceira colocação, e está a cinco do mesmo Botafogo, atual líder. O próximo jogo será no sábado, contra o Cuiabá, e a presidente Leila Pereira diz que o Palmeiras vai brigar pelo título até o fim.
Foi praticamente impossível não lembrar de 2023 naqueles dez minutos de pressão do Palmeiras. O Botafogo de novo iria colocar uma vantagem consolidada pelo ralo?
Uma atuação praticamente perfeita iria ser jogada no lixo por instantes de desatenção? Mas algo diferente foi reservado para o Alvinegro dessa vez: o maior fantasma do ano passado foi exorcizado.

Tudo parecia controlado, mas o drama tinha que fazer parte de um Botafogo x Palmeiras. Romantização à parte, o Alvinegro desligou e sentiu a pressão. Todo o trabalho defensivo bem feito ruiu nos últimos minutos. Praticamente todos os cruzamentos do Palmeiras geravam algum perigo. Três entraram - dois valeram.

O Palmeiras não resistiu à série de decisões do mês de agosto e acumulou duas eliminações precoces em duas semanas. Primeiro para o Flamengo, nas oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil; agora, para o Botafogo, também nas oitavas, da Conmebol Libertadores.
Com isso, o Verdão terá apenas o Campeonato Brasileiro para disputar no último trimestre da temporada. Um cenário inesperado, justamente no ano em que o clube fez um dos maiores investimentos recentes em contratações: cerca de R$ 192 milhões.

Foram oito contratações em 2024, um recorde na gestão do diretor Anderson Barros, empatado com 2022. Especialmente na janela de meio de ano, as contratações foram de impacto: Felipe Anderson, de volta ao Brasil após 11 anos na Europa, Maurício, destaque do Inter, e Giay, aposta do San Lorenzo, da Argentina.
Na janela de começo de ano, o clube buscou Aníbal Moreno, Bruno Rodrigues (que perdeu praticamente a temporada toda com duas lesões no joelho), Caio Paulista, Lázaro e Rômulo.
Dos oito contratados, Caio foi quem teve mais destaque nesta sequência mais dura.
O ex-são-paulino cresceu a partir da lesão de Piquerez, mas vinha tendo um 2024 discreto. Aníbal Moreno, um dos principais nomes do Verdão, ficou no banco contra o Botafogo e entrou no segundo tempo por opção de Abel Ferreira.
Já os outros reforços não entregaram ainda o que se esperava quando foram anunciados. Isto fez com que o Palmeiras tivesse um desempenho irregular principalmente neste mês, que definiria os rumos da equipe no restante do ano.
– Foi um mês que sabem de metade das coisas, um mês que começou pela dureza do sorteio, é sorte, é o que é. Tivemos problemas físicos dentro do time, outros emocionais. Só consegui ter este elenco 80% só agora, infelizmente – declarou Abel Ferreira.
O retrospecto alviverde em agosto é de: duas vitórias, dois empates e uma derrota. Um triunfo foi contra o Flamengo na Copa do Brasil, insuficiente para reverter a eliminação, e outro no Brasileirão, domingo, contra o São Paulo.
As eliminações nos mata-matas foram antes do que previa o clube ao montar o orçamento da temporada. No documento, o Palmeiras projetava atingir as quartas de final tanto na Copa do Brasil quanto na Libertadores.
As eliminações não chegam a impactar tanto as finanças, já que o Verdão teve no primeiro semestre um superávit de R$ 25 milhões, bem acima do déficit de R$ 80 milhões orçado no mesmo período.
Mas a pressão aumenta para o Brasileirão. Com só o campeonato nacional a disputar, o Palmeiras agora busca o tricampeonato consecutivo.
O time tem 41 pontos, na terceira colocação, e está a cinco do mesmo Botafogo, atual líder. O próximo jogo será no sábado, contra o Cuiabá, e a presidente Leila Pereira diz que o Palmeiras vai brigar pelo título até o fim.

Ainda na postagem, o Athletico escreveu: "lamentamos que, em uma competição internacional, eventos como esse ainda aconteçam e manchem o espetáculo do futebol".

Segundo o clube, a Conmebol alegou que o número de refletores do Gigante de Alberdi é insuficiente. Com isso, o Mario Alberto Kempes receberá a partida.
Vídeos que viralizaram nas redes sociais mostram torcedores do Belgrano, localizados no setor Coronel Dulcídio superior, imitando macacos e indígenas em direção aos torcedores do Furacão.
Além dos gestos racistas, torcedores do Athletico também foram vítimas de arremesso de objetos, como lanternas. Um torcedor athleticano, inclusive, ficou ferido no braço após ser atingido. Ele não precisou de atendimento médico.
Diante da gravidade dos fatos, a Polícia Civil do Paraná agiu rapidamente. Com apoio do Athletico, a torcedora do Belgrano, que imitou macaco e fez gestos com os braços, foi identificada e conduzida à Delegacia Móvel de Atendimento a Futebol e Eventos (Demafe). O torcedor que arremessou a lanterna também foi detido e encaminhado à mesma delegacia.
O Belgrano publicou uma nota, na terça-feira, lamentando e repudiando "os atos discriminatórios ocorridos no estádio Arena da Baixada", mas citou que alguns torcedores do Athletico "que provocaram e ofenderam" durante todo o jogo.
Ainda na nota, o time argentino pontuou que "a instituição rival [Athletico] não é responsável pelas atitudes individuais" dos torcedores e que tem o compromisso de "construir um futebol sem discriminações e violências". O Belgrano ainda convocou os sócios e torcedores "a dar o exemplo, colocando sempre os valores com que se identifica a instituição".

1/ VSC just came out with a major announcement. The ability to stake HBD is now up on us. This is moving Hive deeper into the DeFi world. It is also one of the crucial areas where HBD utility can skyrocket.
