Agree, I just think Hive's current development is not high enough to increase in value more than for example Bitcoin which literally has L2 coming up with ZK tech and StarkWare which will unlock a lot of use cases.
We would need a boost in development and more ad revenue coming into the ecosystem and buying up the tokens.
Unfortunately, the only one doing this is LEO, which is why I have most of my HIVE farming LEO, only ones that have the vision right.
I'm ok with accumulating through posting and threading (which will increase demand for token when the ad revenue is turned on again in inleo), but I always have doubts when it comes to increasing my position inside HIVE with outside money. I've done it a few times in the past, but not much.
What Leo is doing is enough to bring the whole ecosystem out of stagnation. The only thing missing from Hive has been decent PR, and for years everyone thought that meant spamming algorithms who would basically soft censor our efforts. Now Leo a few individuals have figured out that it's connecting with people off chain and slowly slowly letting them know what we are doing which will have the greatest effect.
Also with an ecosystem as big and decentralized as Hive, its hard to really feel together on things and build up a cohesive culture. This should be the job of the front ends to make the chain attractive and that is beginning now.
I understand being a bit iffy on Hive on its own but once we see the user base double or triple, these low prices won't be possible anymore, especially the price of Leo which is carrying the whole thing.
I suspect that the Dash integration and whatever other projects come next are going to really shake up Hive.

The way this is achieved is that leoai will take your chats and autonomously post them onto the hive blockchain as plain text and then train based on it

That’s how I feel about Leo, and hive since I spent half my loose hive on Leo
Agree, I just think Hive's current development is not high enough to increase in value more than for example Bitcoin which literally has L2 coming up with ZK tech and StarkWare which will unlock a lot of use cases.
We would need a boost in development and more ad revenue coming into the ecosystem and buying up the tokens.
Unfortunately, the only one doing this is LEO, which is why I have most of my HIVE farming LEO, only ones that have the vision right.
I'm ok with accumulating through posting and threading (which will increase demand for token when the ad revenue is turned on again in inleo), but I always have doubts when it comes to increasing my position inside HIVE with outside money. I've done it a few times in the past, but not much.
What Leo is doing is enough to bring the whole ecosystem out of stagnation. The only thing missing from Hive has been decent PR, and for years everyone thought that meant spamming algorithms who would basically soft censor our efforts. Now Leo a few individuals have figured out that it's connecting with people off chain and slowly slowly letting them know what we are doing which will have the greatest effect.
Also with an ecosystem as big and decentralized as Hive, its hard to really feel together on things and build up a cohesive culture. This should be the job of the front ends to make the chain attractive and that is beginning now.
I understand being a bit iffy on Hive on its own but once we see the user base double or triple, these low prices won't be possible anymore, especially the price of Leo which is carrying the whole thing.
I suspect that the Dash integration and whatever other projects come next are going to really shake up Hive.

so if Leo onboards 1000 people from these other projects, my guess is it will only take a handful of them (5-10) buying 100k to send the price soaring.

I've been taking a look at Alchemix, they have a self repaying loan protocol with no risk of liquidation, which is very interesting, might use them, just need to see if the smart contract risk is worth it.
PS: That whole MakerDAO rebranding was so bad... they lost a bunch of community DAO members.
