If Leo went 5:1 against hive i would be swapping some over for a strong hive stake and i'm sure that others would too.
That could make things interesting if the leo community add a few million hive power between them this year.

in every editor actoss all frontends from inleo to ecency you just need to enter a tag not a hashtag and a tag. So this issue is on the user side

It isn't hard to implement a filter that removes every "#" symbol from the tags area.
