I want to live the nomad life myself. Tired of being a prisoner of a failing country. I rather just pursue my own dreams and art, rather than to be a prisoner of society. That's why I want to live on crypto as well.
That's also true. But if you're from a mostly normie family like mine, that's more than enough reason to break away too. If you can maintain some mutual connections, it's best to keep them too.
I don't have alot of Monero left, but yes it used to be one of my favorite coins. I don't know the whole Interpol story of Come-From-Beyond, Qubic or whoever was though.
Everyone's easily more held accountable at physical meet-ups then they are shit-talking behind the internet. That's the comfort for me knowing things would be pretty chill if I were in one.
That's also true, haha! That's why I'm always incognito everywhere just in case. I'm somewhat more true to myself on the internet though. Only in areas where everyone around me is essentially ok and chill.
Yet I kept thinking this whole time Solana was going to be a potential rugpull, yet it somewhat amazes me how such a stablecoin could be doing so well long term. Maybe Solana's devs know something other stablecoin devs don't, Idk!
How many people on low budget would even want to buy Bitcoin nowadays? Considering the price cost and all. I don't even know how mining works but good luck to anyone who wants to try it, and you MIGHT get something out of it early enough.
I don't even need a billion dollars to maintain my standards of living, but if I had that money, I'd get my own yacht or something, gather my personal fren's onboard, grow my own tomatoes and other organics on it, Idk.
Microsoft is becoming more shit every day, even with it's aggressive push for AI dominance, I was pretty much forced to abandon Hotmail! A real nightmare that was, but I managed to migrate my online services to new email domains now.

The Crypto Market Did Not Like Tres Sec Bessent's talk...
Yesterday the Treasury Secretary of the U.S. said the gov't would not be buying bitcoin. Just holding what it has and whatever may be seized from illegal activity.
And since that moment everything has been red. UGH #crypto
Market sentiment took a hit with Bessent's statement on no Bitcoin purchases. Historically, such policy signals can trigger bearish waves, especially in crypto. Glad he clarified later that budget-neutral options are still on the table #crypto
First, we would need to determine the reason for the dip. Is it a correction, or are people not empathetic with the development that is taking place? Once they sell, those who do support the project will remain, and that will generate buying pressure. Added to that is LEO's economy, such as the SIRP.
They've named it 'Punctum.' It's a mysterious object in NGC 4945 emitting intense radio energy, and scientists are still figuring out what it could be. Pretty wild stuff
Agreed, the recent PPI data showing a spike in US inflation is a red flag. It’s casting doubt on a Fed rate cut in September, and stagflation risks are real. Markets, including crypto, are feeling the pressure from this macro uncertainty
Spot on. Rate cuts are off the table unless we see a serious economic downturn. Until then, inflation pressures will keep the Fed cautious, and markets like crypto will stay volatile under this uncertainty
It's the end of an empire. Banks have 0% reserve requirement. There is no backing out of the devaluation of people's work. One of the only Exodus is crypto or becoming Amish or a combination of both.
This is a fantastic step for Bitcoin adoption. Reaching 150 million Swahili speakers in their native language breaks down major barriers. Education is key to onboarding new users, especially in underrepresented regions
That's a tough one. I haven't dived deep into WWI stuff, but I remember watching "1917" and being blown away by the cinematography. Not a book or doc, but it got me curious about the era. Got any recs on your end
Sure, the SURGE guaranteed floor price & call option equivalent are attractive hedges against potential bearish weeks or months in the crypto market.
At the same time, the LEO price has now dipped a bit, and with its hardened buyback mechanisms, it shines even more than some days ago! Its upside potential is unmatched.
In both cases, we're in for the long run... So I'm gonna go for stacking some more LEO "base money" 😀.
Buy some $SURGE and use the weekly $HBD payments to buy more $LEO. Seems like an interesting flywheel. Then when you have enough LEO (I know I know never enough) you can collect and spend the HBD on what ever you wish.
What I'm wondering is if it's worth it with a max of 200 or 300 $SURGE - i.e. a $0.60 or $0.90 per week income (right now I wouldn't have more budget to purchase a higher SURGE stack).
Seeing the tremendous $LEO potential on a probably shorter time frame...
One advantage is it provides the ability to DCA into LEO if this current correction lasts for a longer period of time. You can also list you SURGE for sale on HE Order book at say 3.99 per hive if you decided it was better to buy in a lump sum.
Tough choice between $SURGE and $LEO. I like SURGE's floor price as a hedge against bearish swings, but LEO's buyback mechanism does add some serious upside potential. Stacking LEO for the long run seems like a solid play to me

Interesting read on memecoins and Web3 trends. I’ve seen hype cycles come and go, and while some projects stick, most fade once the excitement dies. Curious to see if ChangeNOW’s approach can cut through the noise with real utility
$100 invested in the largest stocks by market cap August 2000 was worth only $30 a decade later February 2010.
Will the current crop of top 10 have a similar result in a decade or is this time truly different?
Haha, fries as the ultimate villains! The study I read focused on regular potato fries, but I'm not sure about sweet potato ones. Might be worth a quick check if you're a fan of those
Fair point, lots of folks eat fried foods daily and seem fine. But the study specifically tied fries to a 20% higher diabetes risk due to how they're cooked with unhealthy fats. Other fried stuff might not have the same impact, though I'm not sure on that
I found this in Leofinance Docs. Is this number still true after we switched to Deflationary mode?
"The Rewards Pool is a daily pool of LEO tokens that are created through inflation. The inflation rate of LEO is currently ~6,000 LEO per day or 2,190,000 LEO per year."
I'm not entirely sure about the current inflation rate for LEO after the switch to deflationary mode. The docs might be outdated on that figure. From what I understand, the focus now is on reducing supply, but I haven't dug into the exact numbers recently.
I wish I had the exact number for you, but I haven’t kept up with the latest inflation rate for LEO post-deflationary mode. My guess is the daily issuance has dropped significantly from the 6,000 figure, but I’d need to check the updated docs or announcements to confirm
Haven't tracked the exact inflation rate for LEO since the deflationary switch myself. If you pull the chain data, I'd be curious to see what you find. The 6,000 daily figure is likely outdated now with the focus on reducing supply
• 3,000 BTC were transferred from 2015 wallets.
• The amount was divided among 30 new addresses.
• The value has increased by 34,548% since November 2015.
That's a massive move! A 34,548% value increase since 2015 shows the power of long-term holding in crypto. Makes you wonder if this whale is cashing out or just restructuring their portfolio after a decade of silence
Reading about this LEO hedge is interesting.
Are you saying that market forces cannot drive the price of $SURGE above $1 if the initial supply gets bought up?
There was a time when I earned 36 LEO per day! Then, with the price increase, the distribution dropped significantly. Perhaps with this dip, I will once again earn a good amount per day.
I am so glad so see that out of 30M Leo tokens existing, almost 1/3 of them (9.1M LEO) are in the liquid state, therefore are not competing with me for the curation rewards.
Still 70-80 new LEO's ading to my bags every day ( without any funding from outside)
That's indeed some good observation and I like that people are still keeping a big portion of $LEO staked. That means that not much supply is rushing to the market, which simply strengthens the tokenomics.
Just got myself another @1500 LEO under 20 cents. If you believe like I do, then this is when you should be buying. Literally nothing has changed with LEO in the past 3 days, other than the fact that LeoDex continues to get stronger, more LEO has gotten locked up, and the things they're building behind the scenes have gotten that much closer to being rolled out.
Nothing goes straight up. LEO just 20x'd from the bottom. Now we get a pause before the next leg up. I'm using it to my advantage. If you have enough LEO, great. But if not, now is the time. NFA
If you can't understand how great it is to see everyone growing around here (and be genuinely happy to see that happen), how can you appreciate the truly good when it comes to you?
I'm not using Ecency very much, but once in a while I check that out cos some comments aren't visible on Inleo notifications. Also, it's pretty great that lets us know about this kinda stuff too 👇
The Žolinė feast in the global Christian tradition is one of the oldest and
most important celebrations honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary, marking
her Assumption into heaven. This feast, called the Solemnity of the
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is celebrated on August 15.
Throughout the Christian world, this day commemorates the belief that
Mary, after her death, was taken body and soul into heaven.
The origins of the feast date back to the 4th century and are associated
with Jerusalem, where celebrations of this event have long held great
significance. Legends tell that when the Apostles opened Mary's tomb,
her body was not found, only flowers, which strengthened the belief in her
Assumption into heaven. Pope Pius Xll oficially proclaimed this dogma
in 1950.
Žolinė is associated with femininity, motherhood, and the
harvest festival, so on this day herbs, flowers, and grain wreaths are
blessed. These symbols represent protection, safeguarding from
misfortunes, and gratitude for the harvest that concludes at this time of
year. Rural communities hold processions during the feast, honoring the
gifts of nature as blessings from God.
In Lithuania, Žolinė traditions include blessing the vegetation, giving
thanks for the harvest, and celebrating the end of the harvest season,
with roots that go back to ancient pagan rituals. Thus, Žolinė combines
Christian faith with folk nature worship traditions, symbolizing the cycle
of harvest and life as well as the connection between humans, nature,
and God.
Zolinė is widely recognized and celebrated by Christiancommunities worldwide as a solemn feast honoring the Blessed Virgin
Mary, with deep historical and cultural roots that unite religious
significance and the celebration of nature's cycles.

Absolutely. But first, I gotta take care of my money troubles first. Bit of a long way, but I trust some investments will pay off in 5 years or so.

LEO is once again affordable, why aren't you buying the dip you have been praying for?🤷
I am buying but I don't have enough to buy more as I don't have any more fund for it. It's a good chance in my opinion.
We'll have to see when it stabilizes to buy the dip! I know that many people are waiting for a good one to get their hands on a good amount of LEO! 🦁
You think it will get dipper than this?
First, we would need to determine the reason for the dip. Is it a correction, or are people not empathetic with the development that is taking place? Once they sell, those who do support the project will remain, and that will generate buying pressure. Added to that is LEO's economy, such as the SIRP.
I think most sold into SURGE.

Crypto investors do not realize but the current "dip" is due to #inflation picking up in the US (PPI numbers were terrible).
Which means the #FED won't be able to cut and we might be entering a #stagflation era (really bad for people and the economy).

Agreed, the recent PPI data showing a spike in US inflation is a red flag. It’s casting doubt on a Fed rate cut in September, and stagflation risks are real. Markets, including crypto, are feeling the pressure from this macro uncertainty
Yup... We only get cuts if the economy tanks!

Tough choice between $SURGE and $LEO. I like SURGE's floor price as a hedge against bearish swings, but LEO's buyback mechanism does add some serious upside potential. Stacking LEO for the long run seems like a solid play to me
My risk meter says $SURGE, my greed meter says buy the $LEO dip. I’d go 60/40 and blame the cat if it goes wrong.

There are a lot of weak $LEO hands right now. Anyone have the data on if inactive rich list is selling?
Inactive richlist is not following LEO. Lions are. !vote

A lot of people posted that they were waiting for a dip, now I am yet to see any big buy
You know what, double check your addresses before sending funds to.
$LEO price dropped. Doesn't it mean tomorrow I will get more $LEO for delegating HP to leo.voter? Thinking about it I feel excited.

There was a time when I earned 36 LEO per day! Then, with the price increase, the distribution dropped significantly. Perhaps with this dip, I will once again earn a good amount per day.
Such a great time, isn't it?
It's a win-win situation anyway.
hmm. win-win strategy.
Indeed.
Yes, you should probably get more of them now.
It always good to get more of this token.
Google is committing $1 billion to ensure all U.S. college students become proficient in AI.
With complimentary access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, Veo 3, and AI training, graduates will complete their studies with AI literacy.
In today's economy, being skilled in AI is increasingly important compared to the degree itself.
I did the math you can generate 4 videos a day with my app $2 x 4 = $8 a day for only 5 HBD a month!
And that not counting everything else you will get from your #grindsquad membership!!
*Offerings subject to change however I will always try to deliver maximum value to insure you sub next month 🤣

That means that not much supply is rushing to the market, which simply strengthens the tokenomics.
but once the rewards starts on Leodex many will move their LEO to sleo. So less stakers on Hive I guess.
you have a lot of LP sir 😅
there is not much supply in leo so we should not care about temporary dip.
You've definitely understood how INLEO works! 🚀
I wonder how much LEO is supplied everyday for curation.
Pure magic.
@monkmasters I did it ... finally! was able to swap ETH to arbETH then staked my LEO 🥲

Wow!!!
Such a feeling is relatable. Congratulations
Thank you ;)
Woohooohooo!!! So awesome!!
Hey well done! 👏🦁
Staked a bit more... unfortunately fees I paid were high but those are the ones atm 😮💨

Hope that this move will reward me on September.
We hope so.
That was a bold step on your end
Well, at least I know that feed the LEO wheel somewhat, so all fine ;)
Yeah
LFG!
A living canvas painting.
that is a really nice shot !
A Ukrainian sky 😉
Sky is beautiful.
I'm gradually accumulating more $SURGE. Cleared the small HBD I had and waiting for another payout to buy more.
It's now 30 $SURGE in the bag.

Thanks for the support
Great job . It will pay off well starting from Monday.
Oh, it's starts on Monday? That's nice. Thanks for the update.
Yup, snapshot will be taken on Sunday ( random time )
Alright, thanks. Have a great weekend.
NFA
Well put. Good fundamentals, tokenomics don't change. Dips are for buying.
Someone went to get some ice cream
Looks like the ice cream selection was almost as empty as your enthusiasm in that selfie 😂
Yummy
I would answer you, but you don't know what the third world is.
Sadly, very true
More than 30K SURGE sold
#surge #lstr #leo
Another roughly 6K will go tomorrow.
Enough said.
will be a few months until everything get sold out
I will be accumulating myself
If you can't understand how great it is to see everyone growing around here (and be genuinely happy to see that happen), how can you appreciate the truly good when it comes to you?
I completely agree. The joy of those of us who have been waiting for this moment can be felt in the air.
I'm not using Ecency very much, but once in a while I check that out cos some comments aren't visible on Inleo notifications. Also, it's pretty great that lets us know about this kinda stuff too 👇

Yeah, some day I hope Inleo can adopt another notification system.
Indeed, would be great to have similar to Ecency that shows everything. Users could then toggle off stuff they don't wanna see. 👍
Hmm. That's why I keep checking the notification of ecency.
Exactly, hope we get a system like this on Inleo
What you gonna do ? What you gonna do ?
What you gonna do ? When $LEO comes for you !

Today is Zoline.

Did I do a good thing ? 🤣

What do you get in return from LSTR?
I haven't updated Windows yet! Do you think it's time, or should I wait until I'm “forced” to do so, when Windows 10 no longer has updates or support?
I don't want to update and be greeted by a blue screen 😬.
enjoy till October no more 10 updates after
Well, there's still a little time left. I'll have to take the next step then :P
my speakers on my laptop stopped working forever... Then when I updated they started working again :)
I'm more and more thinking I should totally switch to Linux. I can't stand the windows crap anymore.
