If this is the way of acquiring BTC, I guess it might take longer than expected to have a healthy reserve other than an empty cog of ale. lol
The best way to acquire more crypto is to use money, well that could be interests or profits.

I am sure the smart guys could think of many more and the US is very rich in resources.
Excellent idea indeed. I would say that they could also go for using taxes for BTC purchases, billions of it goes to unnecessary causes.
I am sure they have already thought of many other ways as well.
