Are you listening now?

Okay, so the richest man in the world with 43.8m Twitter followers changed his profile to read “#bitcoin” and tweeted, “In retrospect, it was inevitable.”

Good. Start here: https://leofinance.io/@lukestokes/what-is-cryptocurrency

Learn what cryptocurrency is. Spend this weekend learning. Scrape together some cash you’re willing to lose (you always have to pay your dues. Always.) and buy some crypto. The top market cap coins are usually safe, and you can by a fraction. Safe does not mean they won’t go down in value, just that it may not be be one of thousands of outright scams that may go to zero. There will be volatility. Do not make the mistake of thinking “this one is $34,000 and that one is $0.06 so I’ll by the cheaper one.” Do your research. Never invest in something you don’t understand. Sites like https://www.coingecko.com/ will give you information on every coin including links to their websites, which markets they trade in, total marketcap, trade volume, white paper, and more.

If the global financial system collapses (many say it inevitably will unless it reforms quickly to use blockchain technology), you will need a life raft. If you see this post, you were given an opportunity to grab one.

I did my part.

Once you buy some crypto (Coinbase, Kraken, CashApp, etc.), transfer it to a wallet you control (not your keys, not your coins). I suggest using a FIO enabled wallet so you have a good user experience using a human readable name like luke@stokes to send and receive cryptocurrency: https://fioprotocol.io/free-fio-addresses/

I couldn't afford bitcoin, and don't really understand others alt, I only know hive and just bought 1k and power it up.

Can you afford a satoshi? There are 100,000,000 satoshis in every bitcoin. If you think you can't afford bitcoin, you have more work to do to understand how it actually works. Start with the post I linked to explaining cryptocurrency.

You can always afford BTC because you can buy any amount, it doesn't have to be a full BTC. But nice job on your Hive purchase!

You can even earn Free BitcoinCash for blogging these days.... convert that BitcoinCash to Biitcoin anywhere.... and then you will have lots of Bitcoin. For Free.

Hive isn't going anywhere and will never do anything, its a ponzi scam just like steem

@m31 exciting times!! ^^
Elon's assembling troops.

Yep! Rocket is about to Moon landing :D

Soooo, Elon is not the richest man in the world.

He owns a bunch of paper nothing.
But it's at least backed by some tech... if you call building a car out of a book published in the 70s tech.

He is just the poster child for taking space private (and dark)
If you think you know anything about space, and you believe space is a vacuum, everything you know is a lie.

Soooo, what is the poster child of lies doing now
promoting bitcoin?

I hope it brings more people into bitcoin and they get their bitcoin into their own possession.
But i am waiting for the bait and switch.

Sounds like you can teach Elon a trick or two :P

I don't know. I do not know what Elon knows. He could be just a figure head and kept completely in the dark.
(he could also really know what is going on. Secret space force. Aliens. Ufos...)

Elon sounds just like Bill Nye the (Not A) Science guy... except that he talks engineering.

Research before investing in anything!

Good advice, still does not means the bottom cannot fall out at any given time.

We soon see what going to happen in this year :)) ... but in Summer we all can say WOW :))

Doggy Coin’s boost was the the effect of Elon musk's quote.

now I need to think about your wallet very sharply. although I don't have much more amount refund in such kind of wallets but should be more secured as you have mentioned and thank you very much for alarming us very early on.

I am buying more bitcoin however small as much as I can this year. I don't care if I spend all my savings to btc. Crypto is the future anyway!

And your savings is not the future... in fact, its almost guaranteed to not exist much past this year.

However, having cash in your personal possession may be a very wise move.
