I have been participating in Splinterlands organized tournament the past few weeks and decided to increase my staked SPS in order to enter the higher tier tournament. My funds in Hive is limited so I was looking for ways to increase my SPS holding without adding additional money to my crypto investment. Then I remember I have staked $CRO on Crypto.com and that they started offering trading on SPS/USDT pair. Time to swap some $CRO to $USDT and buy me some $SPS. Now how to send the $SPS to Hive blockchain?
This post will be a guide on how to buy SPS from Crypto.com and send it to your Splinterlands account.
Steps
- Login to your Crypto Exchange account. Note to go to the Exchange as it's not offered on Crypto.com app. If you don't have a Crypto.com account yet, you can sign up here. You will have to undergo a KYC process.
- Make sure you have funded your account and have some $USDT
- Click on Markets link and search for SPS, SPS/USDT should be displayed.
- Place a Buy Limit/Market order
- Once your order has been fulfilled, go to your wallet Dashboard wallet, look for the SPS token and click withdraw.
- Choose External Wallet Address
- You would need a BSC wallet address. If you are just adding the address, you would have to wait 24 hours before you can proceed with your withdrawal.
- Enter the SPS amount you want to withdraw. There's a # $SPS fee charged for withdrawal
- Once the withdrawal is complet, you can go to your Splinterlands account, click on SPS Management page
- Click on transfer, enter the amount to transfer, select Binance Smart Chain for transfer type and click Transfer In
- This will show a confirmation page, similar to the below image. There's a 0.5% bridge fee for using this service. You would need to approve and confirm the transaction in metamask once you click Start Transfer
If everything is ok, you should see your SPS in your in game balance.

A few hours ago, Splinterlands announced the SPS Node Presale which would allow validators to earn SPS rewards regardless if they got any staked SPS vote. This made SPS to go up by 15% and VOUCHER by 50% as of this writing.
