In 13 years look what Bitcoin and crypto has done to technology in daily life. Imagine what changes can take place after the crypto markets mature and Bitcoin becomes just another crypto.

I really hope that is the path we will take. And I think it's going way beyond crypto too. I can see blockchain technology being used for social governance, law-making and many other fields in our daily life.
I'm not sure if there will be one blockchain to rule them all but I'm confident that the world will run on blockchain tech

"One blockchain to rule them all" would be the greatest error for cryptocurrency and blockchain. It would defeat the purpose of decentralized money. On top of that, it's genuinely dystopian.
However, blockchain makes sense for the uses you described earlier plus more we haven't even imagined.

I agree! I think many different blockchains with proper interoperability among them is the way to go

It would be like trade and commerce in pre-Industrial Revolition times. Different countries had their own gold coins, but all were accepted everwhere because what mattered was their weight/mass and purity. It could be similar with crypto over time.
