The liotes project discussion for SPS is asking for feedback on how to use the SPS they have in the account. If you are involved in the project (LENM), then feel free to give your feedback.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Stake it. There's no better use of it as of now!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea 500 SPS isn't really big enough to do too much. With it staked, there will be more options and they can sell off the vouchers to generate some funds.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, that could be a nice little bump in their investment. SPS is going to spike very soon. Possibly just before 18th oct.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It could but the SPS APR has been dropping since a ton of people are staking.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah. Sad to see less SPS to claim. :(
They told everyone that it's valuable. 😂
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
UTOPIS getting staking function.. If you plan on staking the tokens, you will get some extra 10% dividends. Otherwise you can leave in your wallet and collect the tokens as normal.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Utopis is on a mission to create Utopia. 😬
I will happily stake them.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's nice. I'll defintely be staking mine because I'm not planning on selling them anytime soon
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That was my plan as well since UTOPIS is a pretty good long term investment.

About 10 months ago @traciyork published a post about how using crypto and blockchain technology impacted her finances:
The imapct was about more than just the crypto.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Nice story and also very well written. She is a very good author
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thank you China! 😝✌️
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well that is definitely an interesting image.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Opportunity for us to create more wealth. ✌️
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
LOL well it is not the best approach to new technology but China is not going to be the only one going Draconian.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I might as well add India too. Future of crypto is quite uncertain with a small ray of hope. Everyday new users are joining in which is a great sign.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Some more info on SPK Network. I really like how they are regularly breaking down all the aspects of the project. It really helps me to get a better grasp on the whole thing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This is great because they have a very complex architecture. It makes it easier to understand what's going on.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It is nice to see them moving along and giving people it in pieces. This is truly something that is going to be major.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Spk Network folks on Cryptomanics wen???
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Haha they been there a few times already
But I wouldn't complain if they returned. It's always a great talk
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah, I have heard them once. But now that things are clear and we have a roadmap too, it seems like a good time to have them here.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's a complicated project. I haven't really bothered to read through it because I just wait for others to break it down for me.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Complicated indeed!
I read the light papers a couple of times and this standalone posts too and I still don't get all of it
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Do you like earbuds like AirPods or over-the-ear headphones?
I like OTE headphones because they help me cut off completely from the world. ✌
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Never used them.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Okay Task, so do you use giant speakers with a huge woofer to boost things up? 😁
I don't use them otherwise the society I live in would kick me out.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't mind but it depends on what I am doing. If I am playing a PC game then OTE headphones.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I normally like OTE Headphones but they are too big for travel. So when I am moving then earphones or earbuds.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea earbuds and earphones are easier when you are traveling. I like OTE headphones if I am playing games on PC because I am at home.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, they are the best for gaming and listening to music without disturbing others.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I prefer OTE but when I'm out on the streets I use earbuds because they are more discrete
Oh, I also prefer earbuds to play guitar because they don't limit my mobility as much. OTE are not very comfortable when I'm playing, even if they are wireless
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Makes sense! With earbuds you have mobility and flexibility. But they always fall off from my ear. I have tried many different ones but none of them fit properly. That's a downside I face in particular.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Earbuds all the way!
OTE headphones are too hot and uncomfortable for me, especially on the go.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Okay, OTE Headphones with soft ear cushions are my preferred choice, otherwise, it would give you headaches after some use.
Earbuds \m/
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
OTE all the way. Airpods and earbuds feel like insects buzzing in my ear. It also lets people know to leave me alone. OTE gaming headphones are especially useful.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Haha, I also love the put my headphones on but don't press play just so people won't chat, technique.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
** 2 thumbs up **
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Works like a charm. Sometimes avoiding people is necessary for mental health. 😂
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
LMAO. Best use case of OTE headphones. 🙏
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
TikTok officially has a billion users. Facebook has around 3 billion. Can it overtake Facebook?. I think it can takeover Facebook and Instagram combined. They have created a mind-blowing product and their algorithm is great for visibility.
We need something like Tik-Tok built on Hive. A truly decentralized version of a mini-video sharing app.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Can we create an application that gets hundreds of millions of users in the decentralized world?
As for TikTok, no because FB has many different applications.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think we can and many Hive Dapps have to potential to scale that much. Splinterlands can attract millions of users for sure.
Right. If you just compare the social media app of Facebook and Tik Tok, then they are head to head. FB is too big because they are almost everywhere.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
No I don't think TikTok will ever takeover Facebook. Facebook has Instagram as well so I am sure they share a user base and I doubt people would want to lose the easy login for Facebook.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think they need to create a Tik Tok login service to get another use case.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
If I had to choose between facebook and tiktok, I would choose facebook since tiktok is owned by China.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Tik Tok is owned by China but Facebook is no different. For me, all of them are the same. Tik Tok is banned in India so for me, there's no point in using it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea both are bad and I don't want either as a gatekeeper.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's why we need decentralized social media apps that could replace them eventually.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
#Terrive -- https://terrive.one
It's Hive's version of Instagram, and it permits uploads of not only images but short video files.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
YES! This, we need this to develop further. But I don't see much action from the Dev's side. Do you have any updates on this Magna?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't have experience with IG, so I can't compare it with Terrive. It's a straightforward program still a working prototype, but developers have made improvements based on suggestions from testers (including me).
The prototype is far enough along that it can be used like any other dApp. My main form of communication was through D.Buzz to one of the developers, @appukuttan66, and he was very responsive to the concerns I had raised (UX and controls).
I'm not sure what's new regarding Terrive, but anyone can use it even as a working prototype.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, a working prototype is fine. But I want to know any other update about this. Do we have a roadmap? What's the next phase of development? That'd give us some idea about what to expect and when to expect.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
At the moment I don't have any information like that. When I get back from the appointment later today I can do some research on that.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Dear @magnacarta and @finguru ,
Terrive is an indie project, so IG development is slower than expected because there are limits to what just 1 guy can do 😉. I do work on Terrive whenever i can but i also have to take care of the all real world stuff. Right now, I am doing a major rework for terrive ( not just for #trhome posts, but for all posts ) for more "simpler" page structure so it's easier to add new features in the future 🙂. So, the rework might take time but is worth it for scalability.
Talking about Technology, What kind of smartphone do you use?
Android or Apple? And also tell me why.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Android.
The cost.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I really like Apple products but I agree, they are shit costly.
That's why I use Android too. Plus I can install any damn app without rooting the device. Even the ones that are banned on Play Store or not available.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This is the math you need to learn:
1.01365 = 37.8
0.99365 = 0.03
Small changes make a huge difference over a long period of time.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I need to get my Layer 2 tokens above 1.0. If I can't, I'll find a way to swap them out for HIVE, LEO, or POB.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I mostly swap my Layer-2 Tokens to invest in other Layer-2 tokens. 😁 LEO is one I buy the most and then other Dividend Tokens. Sometimes I also put some funds in Cub Finance.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Android. Like taskmaster said, the cost is the major factor for me.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Same here. Apple products are shiny and the shine comes with a cost.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Android
As good as Apple stuff is, I don't think it's worth the price they charge
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes. Not worth anymore. They used to have unique features but now it's all the same.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well I actually don't mind their labtops. It might be an easier way then getting linux working for developing software. I still have my macbook and it makes the process a bit easier.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Apple because of how simple and connectable devices are.
Avoid the latest release hype and costs are no worse than Android.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Maybe in Australia, there are no major cost differences but in the USA it is. Also, in India, I don't why Apple products are so costly. Moreover, we don't have good service too. So that's why I choose android.
But if I had enough money, I would have got each and every product that Apple makes. If you buy one Apple product, you should get others too that you need. They have created their own ecosystem.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I mean don't buy the latest model iPhone and you can avoid the high costs.
After getting annoyed at the ridiculously expensive phone plan I was on, I recently downgraded to an iPhone 8 which was just $250 outright.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's a really smart way to go about it. ✌
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Android-- just on principle. Apple oversees a closed ecosystem, and it treats its customers with disdain.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh yeah, because Google is the moral choice ;)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I picked Android in 2011, which was years before I discovered that Google made its heel turn. Unlike with iOS, it's possible to blow out the Android version that came with the device and install a less-intrusive modified Android OS in its place. It's even possible to use a de-Googled version of Android on certain phones or simply buy a de-Googled Android device.
Android devices let you install app files from alternate app stores, so no one is required to use Google Play except for the absolute essentials. Android devices also accommodate some form of SD card for extra storage. In the case of media files, Android phones let you sideload them onto the device-- audio files, video files, other data files.
Neither Google nor Apple are paragons of virtue to be emulated, but it's possible to neuter Android devices as much as possible. Doing the same with an iPhone turns it into a horrendously priced crystal brick.
When a decentralized and open-source alternative to Android (and iOS) comes along, I will jump that that one.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I thought it was the opposite. 🙄
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The first few versions of iPhone used standard screws which used standard screwdrivers for unscewring the screws. Then one day Apple switched to weird screws which required a weird screw diver for unscrewing the weird screws. Apple did this in response to people opening the devices on their own, thus forcing iPhone users to visit the Apple Stores for any fixes.
Something as simple as replacing the battery is easy with an Android phone, yet iPhone users have no choice but to visit the Apple Store to deal with that problem.
Then there are the developers who have apps on the App Store pulled after some time for bogus reasons. These incidents would be more familiar to people here.
Apple is so great at marketing that many people using its products are fanboys and fangirls of the products, yet Apple treats these same customers as if it owns them and can do whatever it wants to them. That's the impression I got from iPhone users I know.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I agree this is a very stupid problem. Also, the maintenance and service costs are so high. Just imagine if you break the screen. Either go with a fake one or get ready to pay so much money that could get you a better android phone than your costly iphone. 😂
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I know many iPhone users who preferred living with cracked glass than getting it replaced. While there are places which could replace the cracked glass on an iPhone, these places are not "authorized Apple dealers."
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, if you put on a fake glass, that could actually damage your phone even more. Apple products are not great with third-party components. Only the ones, they chose for us.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Nothing exactly new here to us, but it's always nice to read stuff like that on non-crypto media
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea so long as they choose something with low fees.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Chivo, baby!!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Banking the unbanked in El Salvador.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Only thing currently the problem is the China like country that kind of destroys good things to manipulate it's citizens.
Banks must be shit scared of Crypto and Defi. They are going to lose business.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
There's been so many different crypto headlines.. I just never have enough time to chat on Leo market talk lately..
@Taskmaster4450 what do you think about the crypto hamster.. and the first social protocol cointelegraph.com/press-releases/follow-the-first-decentralized-social-protocol-designed-for-web-30-is-live
I want a crypto Hamster mate. Would be Pet of the year. :')
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Is the crypto hamster a prediction tool, or is it more like a pet rock?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's an actual hamster who "predicts" trades
Check this out
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's a pet hamster to predict the outcome of your trades.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Reading a recent article by @ edicted where he talks briefly about securing his crypto assets, I realized I never really paid enough attention to this matter. Of course I don't have nearly as much crypto at risk as he does but it's something I want to look more into from now on.
That being said, what security measures do you take to ensure the safety of your crypto?
Cold wallets? Hardware wallets? Exclusive devices for crypto transactions? Share your tips!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I just use exodus and atomic wallet on desktop for now. But I do want to diversify and secure my assets too. Especially bitcoin and ethereum are precious to me as rest I am just burning to FIAT.
Interesting. I don't know either of those services you mentioned so I'll look them p
Thanks for sharing!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Same. I might have to check as well.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Exodus and Atomic support which cryptos?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I haven't bothered trying to secure it as much...but I think I should probably think about it soon enough.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea, I'm only now starting to think about it... I didn't have a lot of crypto so I wasn't really worried but now that I'm holding a bit more of it, it can be important to play it safe
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't click on random links at all.
I keep my keys safe and only use my posting key on different systems and only use active key whenever required on a system which is offline almost all the time.
I want use HW wallet to store my Bitcoin and other cryptos which I might not sell for a very long time
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Bitcoin has increased over 7,000% in USD value over the past 5 years.
Zoom out. This dip is nothing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Put things on a long term log scale and you see how the dips look rather smooth.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
True. Forget 5 year pattern. Just look at the past year when we hit 100k. Dips will become smaller than the bounces.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yup, that's why I just keep buying when I can regardless of price
Same goes for Hive, Leo and Cub actually
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea but most people tend to think short term and it's a sad fact.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hodling is the name of the game. Those who get through tough times, they win. It's a well-known fact but exercised by a few people.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Okay, Peeps! I did the dirty work and got us some numbers. I think we are GMI. 🚀✌
Daily Comment Count & Totals
Chart To Treat Yo' Eyes
590 is..
..nothing for us. Right? In 2.5 days, it should be easy.
Once again, I think we are GMI. ✌
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for doing all the good work. I think we can get that to 10k. The strong start helped quite a bit I think.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Cheers J. The momentum early on was lost during the middle but we bounced back nicely.
There's one concern I have. There must be 200-300 odd comments that are not posted from Leo Finance front end. So we might have to do a 1000 in 2.5 days just to be on the safer side.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't think the giveaway stated that they had to be from LeoFinance. Obviously 200-300 using other platforms is a great percentage so far. It's less than 5% for sure.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Let's hope this particular point doesn't screw with our hustle. 200-300 and even 500 is fine. I hope it's not way more than that.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Leofinance Podcast has returned.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh I don't think I have heard of it. Specifically is it just for crypto news and not really leofinance?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think they will invite guests just like Jon amd Task do with their show and discuss their projects and of course crypto.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Good stuff. It's nice to see the marketing efforts kicking in. Let's see how it all unfolds in the next few months
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Is this a part of the ongoing marketing effort. Nice!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Technology and business...let's geek out.
Here is our latest edition of @leomarkettalk.
We are closing in on the end of the month. We can add some technology to our usual cryptocurrency and business related topics.
Let us get a nice platform of keywords going today.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Does anyone know how far off we are from the 10k goal? We only got a few days left in the month
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I havent been around much of late so I havent seen the posts by @amr008. Will have to look at his latest report.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The latest report was almost 8-9 days ago...and I think we were around 6.1k or 6.2k. So we needed to cover 3.8k comments or so over 10-11 days.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think we are still around 1.5k comments short. Need to push a lot in the last three days. We badly need a 500 comments day.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I am wondering just how far behind we are...but there is no way of knowing unless someone wants to add up the comment counts.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I will do it later tonight and let everyone know! Life sucks without @amr008. Come back soon bro.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, I was wondering why he was not publishing the daily reports. I hope everything's fine at his end.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I did see a post from him yesterday but for the most part, he is quiet.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I thought he started working on other Hive projects. Would like to see him back in action soon.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea he has his hands in a ton of different projects. I do hope he comes back soon.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
REMINDER!!!!
Get those #CANDIES.
It is vital not to miss a day. A single miss in a number of years could equate to billions of dollars. You never know.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I got my CANDIES and DIAMONDS right here!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Today was the big one for me.
Start over at 10 tomorrow.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
For CANDIES I'm in the middle of the cycle. For DIAMONDS I picked up the 50-bagger, so tomorrow I restart that cycle.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Phew, my future billions are secure now that I have claimed my candies for the day
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You dont want to risk it. There could be a fortune in those CANDIES.
We just never know.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I picked up the 100 candy and 50 diamond collection today. It's back to the minimum tomorrow.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I missed the 100 candies day once again. 🙄
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
How did you miss it? I see you show up almost everyday.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I show up everyday on LMT but then I procrastinate and then I miss. If I wake up early in the morning then I don't miss it at all. But sometimes I have to burn the midnight candle for work.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You can just grab it as soon as the post gets up. You got 24 hours to collect candies.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, I will try to do the same! ✌
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I have been reading about candy collection .how does it work ?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Go to coingecko and make an account. Then just collect the candies everyday. There is no actual use case for them besides some rewards coingecko offers though.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ok buddy. Thanks. I do collect from coinmarketcap
Disregard what I said about coinmarketcap. I made my comment before I reached your comment, and you're already there.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
What @jfang003 said about getting CANDIES.
If you want DIAMONDS, they're at CoinMarketCap. Set up an account there to get those.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Candies, Diamonds and Hearts collected. ✌️
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
One of the reasons why satellite communications is coming way down. This is affecting the entire communications spectrum.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I still think Starlink is a bit too expensive right now compared to the other services unless your in the middle of nowhere.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes. I think it's targeting remote areas only.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's promising. I hope it becomes a viable option soon. I'm really tired of not having other ISP options where I live. I already tried all that are available and they are all bad so I just had to stick to the least terrible one.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well this is total bandwidth, not just the internet service.
But the fact that we are seeing a massive decline is another fact that adds to the deflationary situation.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Bro. Same here. Their monopoly is going on which sucks. Changing the rates abruptly and the service suck. 🙄
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Internet should be free for all. ✌️
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I don't like that there are only a few companies that control most of the internet in the US either.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It hinders the net neutrality concept. I hope this changes all over the world. I can actually count the number of ISPs because they are very few. 😶
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's a few companies which control most of the Internet in the United States because the government provided subsidies to favored companies. This made barrier to entry higher than needed for competitors. It also didn't help that cable television companies got involved.
Along the way, older but serviceable technologies such as landline from the telephone companies virtually disappeared. Yes, almost everyone uses mobile telephones. But if an emergency or disaster takes place and and the cell towers get clogged or put out of commision, the landline serves as an excellent low-tech backup method for communications. The Northeast North American blockout of 2003 and Superstorm Sandy in 2012 validated those points for me.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Same here. The government only allow for some companies to operate which gives them no incentive to improve their services since they can rest assured that no other competitor will come to grab a bite on their market share
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
“That's the wonderful and terrible thing about technology. It changes everything.” — The Expanse
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Very true. Who would of imagined we went from horses carrying carts to cars.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'm waiting for the flying cars, but I'll be happy with the jet pack James Bond (Sean Connery) used in You Only Live Twice (1967).
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't think flying cars will be mainstream...gravity hurts so what happens when something falls?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Flying cars make sense in a different world. The world as it is today can't handle flying cars the way it can road cars. Besides, how do the cars land? Cars as planes need runways, and cars as helicopters need "personal space" away from other cars as helicopters.
And there is gravity,as you said.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, I think they can make maglev tracks up in the sky for faster travel. Won't be cheap though.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah well sometimes the image of the future isnt really what it turns out to be.
Personally I prefer the "Replicator" from Star Trek. That will make the production of anything inexpensive and near instant.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'm not ready for Star Trek-style transporters, but replicators for food would be awesome. We may be on the road to that and other things with 3D printers. It would be nice for us to use technology from Stargate to travel across vast stretches of space.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Molecular assemblers and carbon nanofactories are even more interesting.
3-D printing is going to be a phase in the process. Things are moving quickly.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
3-D printing is definitely an early step in the evolution of replication technology. One good use for it these days is to compensate for the supply chain crunch by printing parts that are needed on a small scale, especially if the parts aren't easy to acquire to begin with.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I vote for flying cars too. But there would be too much traffic for the poor birds.
On independence day you can see hundreds of kite flying in the sky. Flying cards would be even worse for them.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It is like the old saying, if you asked people what they wanted 110 years ago, they would have said faster horses.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's before they learned about horsepower.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I have not watched the show. Is it good? I might have a look at it today.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
We often cover the Metsverse in here. Part of what is going to bring that about is full immersion.
Haptic technology is going to be vital for this.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
3D printed liquid metal? That seems so far out of my scope of understanding.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah it is a @tranzini article. That is more his cup of tea (or whatever they drink in Brazil).
Rum maybe?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
hahaha we actually have a drink here that's a mix of rum and tea so you were right both times!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol, we have something like it too. Perfect for winters.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh wow, this is a different approach to solve the "touch" sensation. Very sophisticated.
I'd really like to try it and see how it feels
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I figured that would be up your alley.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
HBD still floating under a dollar. Last I looked it was at 93 cents.
If you are looking to pick up some with some fiat money, might be a good time.
Just a suggestion.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
We are still getting HIVE also so the HBD out there is still too big. Is anyone doing HBD -> HIVE conversions? I don't think its worth it incase HIVE pumps with only a 7% margin.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It is now down to 91 cents. So we will see.
Not sure it is as attractive since the margin is a lot slimmer.
Plus the entire market seems to be in a holding pattern. Not a lot of green out there.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea the price doesn't seem to stick to the peg that well. I thought the HBD stabilizer project already has enough funds to maintain it for the most part. But the recent days has shown that it can't keep the prices up.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's a great suggestion Task. All I am worried about is that I have no monies left. 😂
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Reminder:
We have @elindos on the #CryptoManiac streaming on Tuesday 1 PM eastern time.
There was an updated website brought out for the EXODE website.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'll be looking forward to when Jon posts the rerun.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Looking forward to it.
The new website looks very nice too

A pretty bold look at Bitcoin in 2061.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Do you think BTC will reach that value in 2061?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Havent really thought about it.
Forecasting that long is very difficult since technology is going to change so much. By then we will like be almost completely in the Metaverse so it is hard to judge what anything will look like at that point.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
For some reason, I dont think this is going to work out how they planned. Bills in Congress never do.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It never does. Everything Congress does is a huge mess and a political show.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
And cost a lot of money, much of it wasted.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah.. it looks good on paper but we all know how these things end up
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yea I was worried about how things were when Cathy Wood made that Space ETF with a bunch of non-space related companies.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
A competitive space race is what was needed in the 1970s. We should already have humans on the moon. Better late than never.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Will we see full-electric Lambos in the future? Nothing confirmed yet, but it seems to be on the table.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well...I think Lambos are kind of overblown but it's good for those who want to have a EV version of a lambo. It just looks like everyone is targeting the EV space before they are left behind.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's true. When even Lambo is thinking about it, it's a clear sign that there is no way back form here now
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
An electric Lamborghini sports car is like a politically correct killing machine. The killing machine will still kill you, only it uses the proper pronouns and PC catch phrases as it kills you. There's no point to a PC killing machine, and there's no point to an electric Lamborghini sports car.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'm in the minority here when it comes to electric cars and other vehicles, but I think it's a waste of time, effort, and resources for LAMBORGHINI to make an electric sports car.
Making electric tractors would make more sense for Lamborghini. They could sell more of them, and recharging them would be easier.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's an interesting idea actually
I guess it will take a little longer for the EV infrastructure to get to rural areas but it's a great market
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's one thing for electric vehicles to take over from internal combustion engine vehicles in a way which makes sense over time as the infrastructure is built out and the technology improves.
Unfortunately, we're being force-fed electric vehicles before they are fully sustainable with their required infrastructure-- and it's all because companies favored by the government are providing them subsidies courtesy of taxpayers. As long as this happens, it won't end well for many people and some companies.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea it's bound to happen anyway so I just hope the infrastructure can catch up

We could see cultured pork sausages hit the market as early as 2022 if things go well for New Age Meats. This is something I really want to try.

Well the biggest issue I see is that the costs and taste might live up to people. However I guess if they let people get use to the new taste when they are young, the taste won't matter as much.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think people can get used to it
I'm curious to see how it tastes

According to this article dated 25 September 2021, it took 5 years for this project to launch in May 2021:
Even after that it faced serious FUD from its competitors in crypto as well as the usual suspects.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well I think ICP itself isn't doing that well. At least from what I see, they promised big but didn't deliver it yet.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That sounds like any number of blockchains and cryptos out there. As long as ICP keeps people informed about what's happening (or not happening), holders of ICP will keep the faith.

NFT Whale Snoop Dogg knows about the metaverse, too:
Decentralized gaming virtual world Sandbox is his playground.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It would be cool to party with Snoop on the metaverse
I wonder how long it will take for technology to be able to replicate the effects of a virtual joint
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Remember tha NFTs sold at Open Sea which featured "smells" ?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
No! I guess I missed that!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Here's a reminder.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Aaah right LOL
Now I remember this nonsese!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is interesting but I think rebuilding it now isn't that interesting. I would wait till there are actual virtual worlds with other people participating.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Given his status as an NFT whale, I think it's safe to say that Snoop Dogg knows what he's doing with his project.

Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK) will do for Cardano (ADA) what Apple did for iPhone apps:
Couldn't Hive be able to host an app/dApp store? One for Android, one for iOS, one for any other operating system which has a store.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well it could...but I don't really think it is needed. Most of the things work directly on a website.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Sometimes the web site goes down-- hacking, natural disasters, critters chewing through cable. It's good to have a mirror or at least an alternate place one can visit to download mobile apps.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
True but I think if the website goes down, I think the app would also have issues.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Also, it's not about using the app on the web site. It's about using Hive or some other blockchain to serve as a repository for the APK files used by Android and whatever app files are used by iOS devices. IPFS can be used with Hive to store the files anyone can download from the app store alternative.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ah that would work I guess. I am not so sure if we need to go that route since anything can be downloaded online pretty much. Then we would also have to worry about people uploading malware and viruses.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I guess it could but do you think there would be any benefits in that?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
If you're an independent developer of mobile apps, you want them available at app stores for Android and iOS. However, you would be at the mercy of those app stores due to their policies (the Apple App Store is notorious for this). If those app stores decide to take down your app or ban it, where do people find your app?
One place would your own web site. However, your hosting provider may be as much of a ninny as the app store which booted you. Parler is the textbook example of this.
So where else would you go? Make your app available via blockchain. Many developers can do that. Going one step further, someone could set up a blockchain-powered app store for mobile phone apps (or any other kind of apps, for that matter). I picked up this idea from @demotruk, and the idea makes sense.
Blockchain is immutable and censorship-resistant. If it can work for social media and multimedia content, why not mobile app or entire app stores?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh ok, that makes sense. Cut the middle-man and the watchdog at the same time

It's easy to forget that Bitcoin (BTC) undergoes regular upgrades:
A few of the upgrades concern privacy protection.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well the upgrades takes forever to come out. When other chains are doing things every week or so, it's easy to forget what BTC is doing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It looks as if Bitcoin Core undergoes nearlt 2 upgrades a year. Ethereum isn't exactly quick with its upgrades, either, if we go by the most recent hard fork.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is probably a constant issue with networks as they get bigger. It requires more work to get everyone on board for the changes.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I recall reading a while ago that when asked about Ethereum's switch from PoW to PoS, Vitalik Buterin said the biggest problem would not be technical but personal. It looked as if not everyone wanted to make the switch, but make the switch they would do.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea people are free to disagree. If it gets really bad, there might even be hard forks. It's just a part of the process but as there are more people, it takes longer.

About 4 months ago @acesontop published a post about how it's possible for some no-name blockchain company to follow a path to greatness similar to Coca-Cola :
In 13 years look what Bitcoin and crypto has done to technology in daily life. Imagine what changes can take place after the crypto markets mature and Bitcoin becomes just another crypto.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I really hope that is the path we will take. And I think it's going way beyond crypto too. I can see blockchain technology being used for social governance, law-making and many other fields in our daily life.
I'm not sure if there will be one blockchain to rule them all but I'm confident that the world will run on blockchain tech
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
"One blockchain to rule them all" would be the greatest error for cryptocurrency and blockchain. It would defeat the purpose of decentralized money. On top of that, it's genuinely dystopian.
However, blockchain makes sense for the uses you described earlier plus more we haven't even imagined.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I agree! I think many different blockchains with proper interoperability among them is the way to go
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It would be like trade and commerce in pre-Industrial Revolition times. Different countries had their own gold coins, but all were accepted everwhere because what mattered was their weight/mass and purity. It could be similar with crypto over time.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
About 4 months ago @josediccus published a post about technology had redefined what "hard work" means, especially in Nigeria :
As shown again and again, technology has improved life for everyone, including how they work and see work.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I agree. I think technology always has a positive net effect in the long run. Unfortunately, the transition is not smooth for everyone and it's something that must be addressed
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Transition periods tend to be difficult even for those who embrace them. It's transition periods which give organized labor grief, too, since it takes a while to figure out how best to game the new system in its favor. It's one reason for opposition to labor-saving technology.

Sparkpool the second largest Ethereum mining firm is shutting down shop this means Ethereum hash rate will greatly reduce but I wonder if it will now cause PoS to fast track considering such a large drop in mining power.
https://leofinance.io/@melbourneswest/ethereum-mining-hash-rate-to-fall-as-china-ban-rolls-out
I think this is a good news considering Ethereum going POS would also help with the fees.
Ethereum losing their second largest stake holder may impact the push to PoS alot sooner. Definitely agree.
Crypto Guides
Our PulseChain (PLS) @crypto-guides guide is coming along nicely:
Kevin and Esmee have done their share.
Anybody else keen to get involved in finishing this one up?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hello Dane. I am working on How does PulseChain work but they don't have a freaking whitepaper. 😝
All they have is goals. Good that they use DPoS so I can write about it. Same as Hive.
I will explain how their sacrifice period works/worked and how the airdrop would happen. I hope that would suffice.
It will be a short one.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks man, just getting to your PulseChain content now :)
As there's not much info out there on PulseChain, it's harder to write.
But that's also an opportunity for us to establish a ranking guide early.
Anything you can contribute will be a huge help.
Also, check out this comment on founder Richard Heart under my Introduction to PulseChain blog.
Could be a guide section in itself!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Is there anything left to write on related to PulseChain?
I might update this section when they go live with the platform and release more details on how it will work and the tokenomics.
Also, that comment is EPIC! You are right, it should have been a post. ✌
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is the last section on the list to do.
But anything with keywords around 'HEX' and the founder 'Richard Heart' would be good additions.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
For now, it's used for nothing. Not even out yet. It can be used just like Ethereum.
I would say, let's replace this section with:
"What Are PulseChain Goals?"
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That fits much better.
Yep, if you want to do that then that'd be the last.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Didn't I link my 'scam or legit' article to the guide or did I fuck up?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You did, I just missed it.
I'm still just doing these manually so sometimes just miss pasting links into my notes app.
Sorry, all up to date now :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
No problem. I thought it might have been another one of my senior moments.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hey @dagger212,
I know you're busy, but what do you think of the PulseChain content we've produced so far?
Would love some feedback and have you contribute a section when you can.

About 1 year ago @eni-ola published a post about how technology has affected relationships :
Technolgy has its ups and down, even in relationships.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well to an extent, the phone and mobile applications have definitely change things. I am so use to having my phone by my side incase I need it so it's tough to see things without it. At the same time, we are now connected to everyone in the world through the internet so people are chasing popularity also.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Man, I am so addicted to my gadgets and the internet. Cannot function without these things. They are now basic necessities.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
As much as I like using a mobile phone as a gadget, for me some things are best done at a desk using some kind of computer. It's hell manipulating a spreadsheet on a gadget, and I fat-finger text longer than an SMS message.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Always use my laptop whenever I can. It's productive and good for the eyes.
Phones are distracting.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh yea, I can't imagine doing spreadsheet work on mobile. It's hell indeed.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I think I couldn't get use to typing all the time on the phone. It's just way faster to type on a keyboard. Also the screen is kind of small and annoying to play games.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
As much as I like using my mobile phone for reading, music, and photos, I rarely use it as an actual phone. I can handle going back to Nokia phones.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's true. Technology has made it easier to connect with your family, friends and loved ones even if they are far. But it also disconnected us from the people we live with. What an irony!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Irony, indeed. Used improperly, mobile gadgets take us down the black hole of social interaction, and that can alienate us from people close to us on the physical plane of life.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, if you are not using the Mobile phone to make money or learn something, it's most probably a waste of time.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I know more than a few couples that met through one of those dating apps and are still together many years later so technology definitely had an impact there
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Those dating apps made a difference for those people, and that's what we want from apps like that-- a way to improve life.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
About 1 year ago @gandhibaba published a post about technology and the fall of Nokia (the mobile phone with the Snake game) :
Nokia had learned the lesson made famous by Lee Iacocca: "Lead, follow, or get out of the way." It applies in technology, too.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea if you stop innovating, your going to be left behind. It's a big issue for many of the big companies that grow so big that they believe they are too big to fail.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
When they go big with years of experience, it's hard for them to adopt such a huge change. Moreover, they need fresh blood and fresh set of ideas to be implemented and experiment with the latest trends.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
In an ever-changing world, size can be a disadvantage. Size didn't help the dinosaurs when the world was changing. Size doesn't help the Pentagon. And size doesn't help a big company adjust to changing market conditions.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's true. During the pandemic when lockdowns happened. Big retail crops went down first. They couldn't manage the expenses without business.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's why those who keep ignoring the Blockchain Technology, they will end up like Nokia. All the shiny things go dull if you don't shine them every now and then.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Unpolished diamonds are just lumps of coal: not pretty, and not desirable.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's true. Work it out under pressure and it shines through!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
They also used Windows Phone for a while so they had it coming. A valuable lesson on how to fail a big business
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Windows Phone in that time had a lousy interface. I had one for about a month before I gave up and sold it for a few dollars.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
My dad was "forced" to use one because of his work back in the day and it really sucked
Thew interface was terrible and it wasn't compatible with many apps
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The newer Windows phones-- those which looked like Windows 8 or Windows 10-- were superior in every way to the earlier phones, but they didn't catch on; the damage was done.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Question.
What efforts can be taken to get Hive Dollar or HIVE accepted like bitcoin cash in POS?
Most of the SEA regions have BCH in their POS lately and I wonder if HIVE community has plans to get their stablecoin being promoted out in the market for usage?
I don't know but I do know some people are trying to get HIVE/HBD listed but you could always apply for it directly. Or you can find out how to apply it there and share your findings for someone else to do.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
First we need to make sure that it's stable. Otherwise not good for commerce. We have feeless 3s transactions and I don't think that's the case with any other Blockchain.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
For the last 4 weeks I've been burning through Resource Credits like crazy. At the moment I'm near 16%. I may be able to finish the month with some RCs left in the tank, but I'll be away for a few hours to let them recharge a bit. Like the T-800, I'll be back.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ah I guess you will be having issues with RCs given your comment amount. Depending on how much you want to engage, I think 500 HP or so might be the better amount to ensure your RCs won't be in trouble.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I have the same amount spared so that I don't have to worry about them running out. ✌️
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
For the push to 10K comments, I'll comment as much as I can for as long as I can. After that is done, I'll settle back to less that the current activity but more than the previous activity. Those comments won't type themselves!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Just comment when you have the time or resources to do. Nobody will blame you for missing a few days due to real life.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for understanding. When the new month starts I'll cut down on activity to give the RCs a chance to replenish. As long as real life is OK the rest of September and the RCs are present, I will continue.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You can set aside 500 HP to do that. I have to reach 500 HP first. I'm not there yet.
Longer comments also consume more RCs than shorter comments. If my comments look shorter than usual the rest of the month, you'll know why.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think that is fine. You can break up comments if you want too since we are practicing for Project Blank
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I can break up the comments, but then it's harder to keep track of the conversation. If I can I will, but I don't promise anything.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
But you have 250 HP?
What are you doing that's burning them this quickly??
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Daily Crypto Markets Live Blog for September 2021.
Have you seen the comment counts lately? They've been insane for some people this month. Before this month, I thought I was busy when I made 20 to 25 comments. The other day I hit 72, and I don't know if I did less or more since. With 3 days left this month, I may be able to weather my predicament.
The other day LeoFinance ate my most recent post due to something stupid I did. It's been getting lots of comments as well as upvotes. If the tribal front-end can't bring up the post for me, I have to use a generic front-end to reply. That eats up RCs as well, maybe even faster than if I used the tribal front-end.
On the bright side, my voting power is back, and my max vote value has increased during this month.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think any front-end uses up the same RCs for replying back. Just keep growing and you will be fine. The start was also tough for me.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
What you say is true. I just never anticipated making dozens and dozens of comments every day over a sustained period.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Magna has been minting an insane amount of comments lately. I faced this issue a few days ago as well when Task had to delegate me some of his HP.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea but yours was a result of a delegation going away. You delegated out too much HP and couldn't use resources like Gift Giver.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think he also Delegated too much of it without realizing it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
My delegations were few and small. My problem was using RCs like they were going out of style and there was no tomorrow. It takes a lot to burn through roughly 250 HP, and by accident I found a way to do that.
I'll go light over the next 6 or 8 hours, then tomorrow I accompany my mother to another appointment for much of the day. That leaves 30 September 2021, and I may as well blow out whatever RCs I have on that day.
Once October starts, my activity will be minimal to let the RCs replenish. Then I get to do it again!!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Let's go crazy on the 30th and drain that HP then!
We might be able to hit the 10k mark then!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That sounds like a great plan mate. Let me know if you need some HP, I can spare like 50 for you. We need you to hit 10K Magna. 🚀
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Power up that damn Hive and come back Magna. We need you to push until we hit 10k.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Every day is Power Up Day for me. I even picked up 30 HP in the last 24 hours between the HEL and killing the delegation to my D.Buzz account.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's cool Magna. Power up until you have enough to do 1000 comments a day. You never know what might happen. 😂
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
How much HP do you need for it? I think I needed like 500 HP to do 100 comments a day so you might need like 5k HP.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hiveblocks shows 100+ even if you have 100K HP. So I am not sure how much you need? But 5K seems like a good guess.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I still don't understand what
adjustment "3.060 HP"
means.Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh those are some cool stats. I had no idea about those numbers
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I've been at the extreme end of commenting, and posting has been light. For a while I'll need to be at the extreme end of posting to pick up HP faster. After that I can find the right balance for me.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Killing the delegation will still take a few days before it comes back to you.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Now you tell me! It's a good thing it was for the D.Buzz account and not @leo.voter!
LOL
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
ouch
I hope you can power up some Hive to deal with that!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
My earnings are set for 100% HP, so that part is done. As for the next 3 days, I'll need to scale back a bit in both comment count and comment length. I'll be around, but with a smaller footprint.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ah that's nice
You'll have a nice stack soon and won't have to deal with this issue ever again
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I found a way to burn through RCs backed by 250HP. I can find a way to burn through RCs backed by 500 HP or even 1,000 HP!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Binance will be restricted to Singapore users soon.
I was not much into binance for swaps and exchange but this is bad news.
https://www.binance.com/en/amp/support/announcement/34c6c158d03a4877a4e13cf0927468bc
Binance is getting restricted everywhere so they would involve themselves indirectly. They are too big and can easily find the loopholes and use them for their own benefit.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea but their shady activity is another cause of concern. They might have the money to fight things but when everyone hits them, they have no choice but to cave.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think it's the best time for other crypto exchanges to take some spotlight. Binance is too big and that's not a good thing for all of us involved in crypto.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It was to be expected for Binance to get hit since they are the biggest exchange and the easiest target. I don't bother much with them because Binance doesn't work in the US.

Coingecko and Coinmarketcap are blocked in China.
You cannot access these websites in the country without VPN ofcourse.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I guess they are starting to block crypto sites from their internet network. I guess those crypto guys have to buy VPN services now too.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Right! I wonder how it's like in Hong Kong because it is a different place from mainland china. They are more aware of VPN services.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh no CANDIES for them. I cant imagine living like that
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Poor Chinese citizens. They are losing on a lot of things. Must be living in FOMO all the time.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
To live in FOMO all the time, you have to be in a position to take advantage of something but you don't for whatever reason. If you lack the opportunity, then FOMO doesn't apply. In the case of the people of Hong Kong, they have bigger things to worry about.

Not really.. can't remember the last time I watched a good movie actually... they seem to get worse by the day

Unfortunately that is the trend for most movies. They stopped caring about the consumer and shoot what they like to portray the world as.

Good movies are not made anymore. Only a few hidden gems here and there. I have not watched a good sci-fi in a very long time.

Technology as you said is one thing that has improved the world and it is still changing the way we behave. However, artificial intelligence may be one kind of beautiful technological advancement but its effect is something we need not neglect. Job loss is unavoidable with it
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Automation and AI will also create new jobs in the long run hopefully. These will help us create bigger and better economies.
In the future, we all will be playing games to earn crypto. Work will be no less than fun. ✌
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The job they will take will outnumber the ones they will bring
For some time YES but eventually we will find an equilibrium and even more jobs than ever before.
Automation will create a better economy and more opportunities for everyone.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is true. It's something that will need to be addressed one way or the other but I believe that the net effect of technology is always positive.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
To an extent I will agree with you. On this.
