I think that $LTC can reach $1K, but maybe not by New Year's Day 2024. The more difficult it is for people to acquire $BTC, the more attractive $LTC becomes. After all, they are nearly identical except for a few settings plus the hashing.

Technically nearly identica yet. But there is a huge difference in perception.

I thought it a crazy timeline. Yours might be more realistic although not sure $LTC ever seens that.

Perception-- that's exactly the main problem w/ $LTC. No amount of rational comparisons can help there. I'm not saying $LTC is better than $BTC, but that doesn't matter. It's like the battles featuring Betamax v. VHS or HD-DVD v. Blu-Ray.

Personally I have used LTC for more transactions by orders of magnitude than BTC.

I actually prefer to use LTC when sending money around.

That's how it's supposed to be with crypto; it's supposed 2B used, and that means it has 2B easy to use. $BTC may have been that way long ago, but for many years we've been treating it as a share of stock like Tesla or Berkshire Hathaway.

Very true. The problem is people will not use a medium of exchange if it has the potential for huge gains. Even my LTC use was convert something to LTC and use that as the vehicle currency (mostly when dealing with CEX).
