Windows Phone in that time had a lousy interface. I had one for about a month before I gave up and sold it for a few dollars.

My dad was "forced" to use one because of his work back in the day and it really sucked
Thew interface was terrible and it wasn't compatible with many apps

The newer Windows phones-- those which looked like Windows 8 or Windows 10-- were superior in every way to the earlier phones, but they didn't catch on; the damage was done.
