Although Satoshi Nakamoto or the persons behind this pseudonym are unknown, there are various speculations about his identity. I decided to share with you some of the potential Nakamotos.
Hal Finney
He is considered to be a ghostwriter on behalf of Nakamoto, given his writing resemblance with that of Nakamoto and the fact that he received the first Bitcoin transaction from Nakamoto.
Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto
He has Satoshi Nakamoto as his birth name and background work experience in computer engineering.
Nick Szabo
Being a crypto enthusiast, considering his connections with the crypto world and making some declarations suggesting he could be Nakamoto, made others believe he could actually be the real inventor of Bitcoin.
Craig Wright
Among the persons presented above, all of them denied being Nakamoto, except Craig Wright, an Australian academic, computer scientist, and businessman. Some evidence was found in this respect but several relevant crypto analysts were not convinced about it.
