Strong Back Fort | Combo Angelic Mandarin + Wave Brood | Social Media Challenge

Intro

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. i'm so sad if i heard about war between Ukraine and Russia, This morning I read the news about the Russian missile attack on Chernihiv residence that killed 33 people and 18 injured. I hope the war ends soon and no more people die because of war.

First of all, I want to thank you to @nfty-arcade for giving me the opportunity to become a schollarship. At this post i will share my strategy what I call Strong Back Fort and i play in my schollar account, this strategy work well at middle mana cap with water unit. I hope this post could provides an overview of the strategy in the game splinterlands.

Strong Back Fort Strategy

The basis of this strategy is to divert enemy attacks on monsters that have high health and are support by healing each round. When you see the movie 300, Spartan army strategy is to make a solid defense and attack the enemy at one point. Based from that strategy, I'm trying to apply it to this game.

Lineup

Mana cap : 28

Available Unit : Fire, Water, Life, and Death

Rule set :

Close Range : Range units can attack from position 1. Ranged monsters are the new Melee monsters.

Trample : The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.

Lets moving forward, here i put my lineup :

Summoner - Kelya Frendul

First, i put Kelya Frendul as a summoner because He give +1 armor and +1 speed to each monster. Kelya Frendul is a rare card summoners from chaos legion edition belongs to water unit. When we move to gold leaguge, i think the speed is very important. so, this cards very recommended to invest.

1^st Position - Diemonshark

In first position there is Diemonshark, this monster is a rare monster came from chaos legion edition belongs to water unit. At level 5 He has 3 malee attack with 4 speed and huge armor plus huge health. He also has trample ability and encourage. He is so powerfull to put in first position.

2^nd Position - Torrent Fiend

Torrent Fiend is a legendary monster from chaos legion edition, this card is do helpfull with 0 mana cost. I put this monster to become a distraktor when first monster die.

3^rd Position - Merdaali Guardian

At third position there is Merdaali Guardian. She is a rare monster from chaos legion edition. Even she didnt attacked the enemy monster, at level 5, she has tank heal and repair ability. She will be an important support in the team.

4^th Position - Angelic Mandarin

Angelick Mandarin is a rare monster from chaos legion edition and belongs to water unit. He is very important in the team. At level 5, He has 2 range attack and 6 health. The plus value of this card is triage ability when He reach at level 4.

5^th Position - Igor Darkspear

An epic card from chaos legion edition belongs to water unit called Igor Darkspear. He need 2 cost mana and have 2 range attack 3 speeds, and 4 health. At level 4 he has Stun ability to stun the enemy monster and skip the round.

6^th Position - Wave Brood

On last monster i have Wave Brood, He is a rare card from chaos legion edition belongs to water unit. as an epic card, He has epic ability. At level 4, he has 2 range attack and 13 health, i think this is a huge health and enough to become tanker in battlefield. At level 4, he has taunt, close range, and void ability. I put this monster on the back to to interfere with the enemy's attack so that it can be directed at his monster. After recieve attacked from the enemy, He will give more health from triage ability.

The Match and Result

Before we move to the match, i will tell you a little about the opponent's lineup. My opponent using life deck with General Sloan as a summoner and then in firtst position He/She put Chaos Night, move on to the next position there is Celestial Harpy at level 5, and then Time mage at level 5. At fouth position He/She put Truthspeaker to give more armors each monster friendly. At fifth position there is Pelacor Arbalest at level 5, and the last position is Herbalist.

Lets moving to the match.

Round 1

• Each summoner and monsters give buff and debuff to each monster.
• Wave Brood recieve 8 range attack in this round.
• Chaos Night got 3 attack and stun in this round.

Round 2

• My Wave Brood after recieve attacked from Pelacor Arbalest.
• Torrent Fiend has defeded by Celestial Harpy.
• Chaos Night got stun again.

Round 3

• Chaos Night has defeded after recieving attack from Diemondshark
• Because trample ability He attack on next monster but he got missed.
• Celistial Harpy got 2range attack from Igor Darkspear.

Round 4

• Diemonsshark got missed again when he atttaked Celestial Harpy.
• Finally, Cellestil Harpy get defeted after recieving attack from Angelic Mandarin.
• Diemonshark got more armor and health.

Round 5

• My Diemonshark get died after recieving attack from Pelacor Arbalest.
• Time Mage has defeted by Angelic Mandarin.

Round 6

• Truthspeaker died in this round and the enemy monsters lost their armor
• Pelacor Arbalest got 1 missed on this round.

Round 7 - End

• At final round i still have 3 more monster and finally defeat all enemy monster.

Conclution

Finally we at the end of this post. The combination of speed and armor in water units, especially the chaos legion edition is an important key to winning the match. At this battle my strategy called Strong Back Fort work well to give the monsters a chance to break the enemy's defenses.
