Most importantly it makes it easy for people to interact. They do not have to possess any special skill or even think for a while(like they do while making a blog), and that's the key to making it more appealing.

Precisely. The numbers on here should be far higher because there is such a low barrier to entry. Simply engage with others and post stuff that comes to mind.
