Hopefully a month+ of this will cement some habits and familiarity with using Threads. I am also very curious to see how many new-to-Hive users it will bring in 🤞
There's already a few new users, not many though. This added to the Twitter marketing campaign of weeklytops (starting soon) and some collaborations we have in the making to bring full crypto projects into threads will hopefully be amazing!
It's being worked on, we hope to encourage users and make them fall in love with threads so much that this kind of activity continues even after the adoption campaign.
People on Hive do not seem to understand that the idea of driving people to the ecosystem means nothing if there is no engagement. A dead platform does not excite anyone.
tbh, there are only few who are actually engaging without worrying too much about earnings and price appreciation. The moment we focus on engagement and growth, price may follow.

Yes sure, the more the better. Another thing is the time zones. Some people i‘d like to interact more with are mostly active when my day is almost done … like now, you wake up and start and here it‘s dinner time ¯_(ツ)_/¯
That is true. We do need a better cross section of the time zones. As more people in the EU, as an example use it, there will be more consistent activity throughout each persons day. I find that when the EU crashes, it slows down.
im one of those ppl that live out of their suitcases & keep all my stuff in 1 corner of the hotel room, i want to relax/have fun, not babysit all my stuff & have doubts of leaving stuff behind.
I personally do not like loads, which is why most of the stuff I own are often tiny so as to easily fit into a pocket, lol, I hate large and heavy shits, life is already a mess, don't come eat up the little clean space left.
tbh it takes me a while to do research on stuff i buy because i like multi utility. just like you, i do not want a bunch of stuff, i want a few things that i learned and take care of that can do everything & can take everywhere

I most admit, that space is quite toxic. It's a cesspool for trolls. I never go on twitter and feel better afterwards. This is why I minimise my usage.

IMO, we should strive to only make GOOD threads as a parent thread, and let smaller, shorter, lower quality threads as replies to other threads.
In the end, if we want to build an audience, we want them to see only our best ones.

not directly from the UI that I know. You could go to Peakd and edit it. It is a comment after all.

Seems like there are some reasons for bots but I dont follow it close enough.
Game economy-wise my guess is that it will make it worse. Card prices are down a lot since the proposal. Game play-wise maybe better for human players. I don't really like the centralization aspect at all if I'm being honest.
There is no doubt the centralization tied to Splinterlands and Hive-Engine.
If there are no bots, will people have to wait a time to find an opponent?
Wait times for finding an opponent in Modern League will probably increase while wait times for Wild League will decrease.

I don't know what's going to happen. I'm guessing Splinterlands will try to prevent bots playing in Modern League as per the proposal. Just a guess. It's all wait and see for everyone.

This is an important basis for Hive in my view.
Most importantly it makes it easy for people to interact. They do not have to possess any special skill or even think for a while(like they do while making a blog), and that's the key to making it more appealing.
