Yeah. I am still very busy in the non-digital world, so my InLeo time is very episodic. Trying to improve my consistency, but it's a work in progress. 😀

Totally get that! Life outside the screen can be a whirlwind sometimes.
What matters is—you show up when you can. And that’s more than enough.
We’ll be here when you’re around. Keep doing your thing, at your pace.
We all know that feeling 😆
I logged in like 10 mins agoand saw that a thread I thought I posted this morning was not posted 😂

I actually get most of my InLeo time in when at work! 👀
I try and keep it to a minimum and away from the boss, but I am currently self-employed. 🤣
And also... makes it difficult to hide it from the boss 🤣

The boss is in denial. 🤣
Nice! What kinda work are you doing then? 😄
I keep the what under wraps, but I basically I am a hired gun (no --not that kind). I find places in my industry that are desperate and go and do what they can't find people to do any more.
Good money...bad life. Poor work life balance as they say!
Sounds interesting. Was asking because my current employer has let me go due to a longer than anticipated sick-leave.
When I'm ready to work again, I want to try now challenges 😃
It helps if you are qualified as or can do something that has fallen out of favor. Companies are desperate to get certain types of workers and no one is able to do it anymore. No one is willing either.
One example in the computer field:
No one knows COBOL anymore. No new programmers want to learn COBOL (and it would probably not be wise).
No one wants to use COBOL anymore, but many are stuck with it and desperate for help to transition away. One can get hired as a COBOL programmer for decent money even though it is a "dead language". One could even name their price basically as an independent contractor if they find someone desperate enough.
Whenever someone desperate is found though the conditions at that kind of work are often stressful and high hours. There are usually good reasons why they are desperate to find someone. Either the company sucks, or the nature of the work sucks. 🤣
Find something no one else wants to do and get really good at it! 🤣
This is some great advice! Right jow my brain is absolutely empty though 🤣
