oh and you forgot a meritocracy or rule by the capable like me. rich people are dumb that's why they don't always stay rich lol. military people are abrasive which is why they create world wars and kill everybodys, theocracies are fanatics and lunatics.
So intelligent people know you don't settle for either, lol. The greatest people in history and who contribute the most sometimes aren't any of those things. So why would there be some given rule why we should just fix on any of them. What should happen is more like an egalitarian meritocracy where you keep what you kill.
if you're that person who got a chunk of hive from some earlier manipulation or opportunity it's not that you did anything deserving of it or gave the world back anything. it's just that you fit into the shellgame. you didn't earn anything or give value to anything really. So in a meritocracy which is all we should practice is people should be rewarded based on their contribution but it should balance out so that everyone gets rewarded for their role in society. So in a place like america where we're all shareholders.. the ceo of apple shouldn't somehow be rewarded insanely out of balance with a member of the apple team .. or a member of society shouldn't get nothing at all as they have to some degree no matter how small as a citizen contributed to the network. it's not a zero sum game. we all have contributed in some way outside the scope of some autocratic idiot telling you that you haven't because they say. no you are a part of the machine as well and you should be oiled up too. that's how it should work.. not should work will work that way or we going to reset this every single time none of it's going to work long.

It's completely self-defeating and ridiculous.
In order to have a meritocracy, one must have a way to measure merit.
But if you have a way to measure merit with 0% corruption,
then you've already created a superior reputation system that trumps money altogether.
Thus meritocracy is a fantasy utopia that can't exist, almost by definition.
There's a reason why Star Trek never attempts to describe the politics of it's own meritocracy.
Meritocracy is a paradox that cancels itself out.
A utopian solution will never be made real.
