Splinterfrens are origined from a discord group called: Metafrens. Metafrens was aimed to reach out to Singaporeans who both new and experience to Crypto. As I have started playing Splinterlands since June last year 2021. I was just trying my luck to see if anyone is interested in trying out Splinterlands. I try to give away freebies, card delegations, strategy discussion, hold private tournaments so as to support the singaporean community that is playing Splinterlands. I try to call ourselves as Splinterfrens and this has been growing months after months.
In facts, we have people who even bring their other friends into our community. We even have folks who saw my blog post and reach out to me. Recently, we even have @blitzzzz spotted and roped in a singaporean player due to his profile on one of his hive blogs.
As usual, I try to organise a private tournament near the end of every season for the local community. And I have tried to increase the number of slots to 32 which is double of my previous blog post on the splinterfrens tournament. I even stated that alt accounts could only join after 24hrs.
Yet, surprisingly, within one day, before we allow alt accounts to join the tournament, we already have filled up all 32 slots within the first 24hrs. We do have a lot of new members with even people from Philipines and Malaysia. The funny incident is that @kurouzs manage to guess the password and join the tournament without us even knowing who he is. But subsequently, I encouraged him to interact with the local community in discord and now he is part of our splinterfrens community.
As the purpose of the tournament is to learn from one another, I even set the prize reward from rank 9 to 32 to be 100DEC each. So no matter whether you rank high or low, you are still able to walk with a decent prize. Most importantly is to have fun while challenge among ourselves.
After about 2 rounds of 24hrs each, we finally have the winner!!! Kurouzs who appear out of nowhere and thanks to his smart wits in guessing the right password, he was able to walk away with the top prizes of 300 DEC and a pack of chao legion packs. Here is the result of all the participants.
As you can see, despite having 32 participants, the list is only until 29 participants. This is because we have 2 players who did not submit any matches due to the match start earlier than expected. We also have 1 new participant who just playing Splinterlands, happened to lose all the matches. As a result of not able to secure even a single wins or draws, he was removed from the tournament. This is a new info to me!
And once again, congratz to the top winners. @stamato @maladroitest @babychimz are previous past tournament winners and they are still securing the top spots. But we can see that more and more new players joining the community are also putting up a good fight like @gs1 and @cloudtemplar
I am really excited to look forward to the next Splinterfrens private tournament.

haha i also do rent out a huge portion of my cards for passive income. However, I kept a chao legion cards to use for playing splinterlands cause i really love the gameplay. It is hard to not play Splinterlands.
Oh for sure. I play, as @thelogicaldude and post videos here and there, but yeah… I kinda suck, lol some of my partners are way better than me, but that’s cool. Can’t be great at everything, lol. I play for fun.
