RE: How To Calculate How Much Hive Power Is Needed For Each Hivebuzz Rank

in LeoFinance5 years ago

You're welcome, glad it's helpful! Looking at your wallet, you could easily get there by the time Christmas comes with the amount of liquid HBD and HIVE you have (but I guess you are keeping it liquid for a reason) 😁 just keep doing your thing, you got this 💪

Sort:

Yep ... I invest my liquid HIVE in tokenizing on NFT Showroom, and I am saving up HBD to purchase some art for a book cover from a fellow Hive artist ... it is rotating slowly back into the ecosystem ... meanwhile, I just do my posts every day and keep hodling away ...

That's awesome and good for you for using HIVE as an actual currency to buy things!

My goals always change since I have been powering up from day 1 but currently, I'm on a tunnel vision mission to get to Orca by the end of the year and then I guess will see what I will do after that although I lease out my HP for daily payouts which is a nice combination for me.

I have a significant amount of Hive leased out to Tipu ... it powers up about a third of a Hive every day for me, and my immediate goal is to get that to half a Hive a day.

Ah I have heard about tipu but never used it or looked in to it. What's the APR on that? I have delegated to curation guilds but the return is about 8% which is OK but I have about 14% from leasing out to curie and that does make a big difference in daily payouts.

Well, I am going to have to do our type of math to work this out.

Approximately 3600HP yields 1 Hive in HP per day on Tipu, and there are 365 days in most years. That gives you around 10.15 percent APR.

I'm all up for a bit of maths as long as it involved APR 😁

That's pretty decent return actually, seems to be one of the better rates going and it's powered up directly so you can put it to work straight away and make use of the 3% APR of having stake powered up too
