Ford have signed new deal with Vodafone for a private 5G network in UK

Ford Motor Co has marked an arrangement with Vodafone Group Plc to introduce a private 5G organize at the vehicle producer's electric-vehicle (EV) battery office in UK's Essex, the companies said in a joint proclamation on Thursday.

The venture is a piece of a 65-million-pound ($80.87 million) interest in 5G supported by the UK government, according to Ford and Vodafone (NASDAQ:VOD), and would be among the first of its sort in Britain.

The private 5G organize at Ford's office will supplant more established Wi-Fi systems and help accelerate the creation of EV components, according to the companies.
