Tracking Progress

in LeoFinance2 years ago

I have been thinking my last post (why it´s so difficult to write) and how on earth I have still managed to met my HBD savings and Hive daily trading goals.

The difference is that I actually track my progress on my small notebook.

I have set realistic expectations for both of those things and I I write on daily basis how much I made gains on day trading and on weekly on my HBD savings situation and I make actively changes if it looks that I´m not going to reach my goals.

So realistic goals + actual tracking seems to be the key to success in my case and I have made my mind to implement it on my writing as well.

So 4 weekly posts, no matter the subject and I do not care how much I make per post, it´s not relevant. The point is to just create, have fun and that´s it.

I will make weekly tracking chart for myself and hopefully this will bring results.

As I said on my last post; I do not have lack of ideas, it´s just the execution that is suffering at the moment.

That's a good plan. Just remember to engage others with comments and threads. Those don't earn as much as posts because they are made using less Resource Credits, but upvotes on (for example) 20 comments can earn more than upvotes on 1 post. Every bit of upvote rewards counts.

You are absolutely right on the commenting part, I do it way too little and I usually just upvote on other people's posts. I guess I could make their day by dropping a comment

Whatever you've been doing, just do a little bit more each day. If you do 5 comments, then do #6. If you upvote 20 people, find upvote #21. For places like LikeTu or LeoThreads, if you do 4 posts/threads then do #5.

You would definitely make a Hiver's day by leaving a comment on a post where you see effort was made to produce good content. As long as your voting power is at a good level (usually 75% to 80% or higher), just look for a few more posts & comments worthy of your upvote.

Another way to boost your progress is to reblog a post (or even a comment). It's a way to get your name in front of people who may not be familiar with you, and after a few reblogs they may give you a chance. No upvotes are guaranteed with reblogs, but it's guaranteed that not doing that won't help.

Thanks 🙏 I will definitely take these on my task list, especially since I do not blog daily
