Hilariously sad
Just a few minutes ago, I received an explanation about why my account was under suspicion and why I needed to offer proof of myself in the form of another social media account of mine. Which is ridiculous and actually doxxing!
Now, the response was hilarious and sad at the same. Apparently is me using a photo of my idol, Pele, not allowed by Hivewatchers. So, everybody needs to be putting a picture of themselves as an avatar or they are considered as an abuser? Or does Hivewatchers really know nothing about sports and had never heard about Pele… Anyhow, it’s a sad story.
And last but not least, what is the relation between Hivewatchers and Themarkymark? Are they one and the same? I demand a link to a social media account of both of them, to prove who they are. If they can ask me, I can ask them.

Hivewatchers is so lame. I had a friend who joined Hive about a year ago and was asked the same thing and she quit...

Just the usual incompetency. You shouldn't take it too seriously. Hivewatchers are bunch of idiots (no more polite expression stands). They have no clue about copyrights laws, nor the rest, they act without consistency very often. Your case just prove that. When you posted selfies plenty times in the past. So they don't even 'waste' time for checking your account. (Not to mention, you don't use vote buying services and around since long years.)
If you check the DHF proposals on peakd, now there is a bar to see the support %age of given proposal by given voters, and it is very good to see the whales share. + the number of votes appear, too.
Return proposal has 800 votes - no blocktrades. Hivewatchers has support by 300 accounts, and blocktrades 62.8%, smooth 14.1% and oflyhigh 7.0% that's 83.9% in total... :)
It just perfectly shows Hive's one of the biggest problem. It's not decentalized in practice, the money what can be used for growing, just wasted for maintanance of whales' projects and for nonsense. Nowadays it is 3-5% of marketcap without any real positive result. So, the voting part is almost pointless, meantime they are still on the haunt of the small guys... :)
Themarkymark doesn't vote for hivewatchers, how he doesnt support much except return proposal, so from this point of view, he is consistent (and always against valueplan money wasting).
On the other hand, his actions, downvotes are not logical, I think, he has driven away the most people from Hive, especially people from West, the ones who actually have purchasing power, could buy Hive and wouldn't sell Hive asap, how many of the very poor 3rd world people do.
Hivewatchers idiotism showed here again by think about you, that you abuse system for daily $1-2, when living in the west, that's just nothing. If anybody want to do blogging for money from the west, their minimum target/blog would be much higher, something around $10-20-50/post for start, without that, it is pointless and worthless...
Meantime, I totally agree with you, the biggest abusers of the reward pool are the whales themselves and for exchange that, their contribution has near to zero visible result.
I think, you posted about Hive earnings on exchanges. That's the best (or only?) mode you can really earn from Hive, if you are not whale and live in the west. Short Hive futures in times like today, take profit, buy Hive for x %age of that and leave it on exchange to earn higher rewards than actually staking and using it on Hive itself.
Anyway, many whales from Hive doing the same! They just don't publicly admit! What makes similar actions, like this one against you, even more mindless move.
