For me, engagement will really do wonders in blogging because without engagement you will never succeed unless you are already a celebrity in your field or you're having extraordinary talents. The rewards will follow soon, first, we have to engage in my own opinion, I think.
I appreciate that Ed! Hive isn't as complex as people think. Being a blogger in Web 2.0 is much more complicated than this as you need to learn to code and other SEO stuff. It is required here as well but then again, making a target market with the content and audience is relatively easy here.
This is the mindset that we try to instill in the new guys. Hard work and networking plays a lot here. If folks wouldn't bother engaging with other people, most likely they will just be gone in the void.
