People these days have the attention spand of a gold fish so I agree with your overall point. To be fair there has been many times when I google something and click one of the top links to find the info I'm looking for and then bounce from said site not knowing if I will ever visit it again. I suspect that is happening on Hive/Leo/Ecency and every other site as well within various degrees.
