I am sure you know this and just want to be cautious, but your address is already "immutably enshrined" if you have ever moved a hive-engine token to BSC/polygon/ETH through a bridge.

When you send a token through the bridge your address is recorded in the HIVE blockchain :-)

Anyone can go and discover it with enough determination. And there are those with determination :-)

Quite an apt response.

Yes, your are correct. I do. If one chooses, as well as has the skills, to dig in to the details of what is stored on our Hive blockchain ...

I do not, however, consider this the same as publishing a post openly asking for addresses to be provided in comments on it.

But ...

Likely a moot point ...

I understand and agree with your reticence. Just wanted to make sure you were under no false impressions (though I was pretty sure you weren't :-) )

No sense going looking for trouble when it can pretty much find you well enough all by itself ;-)

"No sense going looking for trouble when it can pretty much find you well enough all by itself ;-)"

No question. 😏😉

Haha. That's a valid concern. We need an identity solution on Hive/BSC like Polygon Identity. When it goes live, you will be able to verify your existence without giving up your password, address, wallet address, or any personal info that you want to hide. 😝 Based on ZK-proof technology.

Undoubtedly a need exists, i.e. "demand." As the "marketplace" steps in to provide this need, it will be very interesting to see where we end up, i.e. "supply."

However, you can as well crest a new polygon wallet strictly for PolyCUB. It would save you the stress especially as yo keep your wallet containing other assets anonymous.

As some users already mentioned, if you want to keep your anon state, there's always the option of having a side wallet! In fact many users do. I wish we had a different option but we don't, if you have a suggestion for the next contest that can fix this, please let us know!
