5/20 Not much later, OpenSea is guilty of #censoring NFTs by removing them from the interface on their #marketplace. This is anything but decentralized and a direct contradiction to what they "pretend" to be pursuing "Freedom and openness"

6/20 These #influencers pick up these kind of centralized news items, published by centralized pro web 2.0 websites. These publishers do understand what Web 3.0 is and how threatening it is for their current existence.
7/20 Because blockchain technology is so threatening towards the current controlled Web 2.0 world we are so used to, it is not crazy to think these institutions are deliberately spreading #fakenews or are steering towards the believable lie
8/20 Lies and truths can both be hurtful. But we sometimes forget that spreading half-truths can be far more dangerous and do a lot of damage. Nonetheless, they are being spread. And we need to be wary.
9/20 It isn't surprising to me to see influencers pop-up and jump on the hype train. They're after all copy/pasting web 2.0 information. And due to their "busy" lifestyle, it can be quite the challenge to #DYOR
10/20 Just look at what we are creating today #threads. Re-inventing microblogging and launching it on a full decentralized blockchain. Can we comprehend what this means? No centralized party that can #shadowban or #delete your account.
11/20 The sad truth is, is that most of these influencers have no idea what they are promoting, nor who represents these projects. Just look at #BitConnect and the influencers who 100% believed 1-2% interest PER DAY is #sustainable. #SMH
12/20 This is why it is super important to do your own research. Question yourself, what existing world problem does it solve, could it solve, or can potentially be solved once further developed. You know what #leothreads solve?
