I came to hive for the gaming and realized that there is more than can be done here. I am yet to withdraw anything from my games though.
the reward you receive on a post IS NEVER A FUNCTION OF THE QUALITY OF YOUR CONTENT but the people who like your content or who are friends with you.
Let me add some things to this.
The reward you get depends solely on the visibility of your content. Meaning that it depends on the community you posted on, the people you have as friends, how well you promote your posts and the tags you make use of.
But in all, it is mostly not a function of the quality of your content.

I agree with you. The visibility of your content to an extent determined what you earn, and there are some communities with active members. When you post in such communities, you will certainly get active engagement.
