Make your bike consume less petrol

As you all are conscious of the increasing inflation all over the world. And you also know that the origin of inflation became COVID-19 and further the current scenario of this sky-touching inflation closely relates to the war between Russia and Ukraine. The prices of everything including garments, food supplements, cooking oil, construction materials, and almost everything prices are increased 4 times in Pakistan. And most all of the goods, the petroleum prices are affecting mostly the people of Pakistan. Almost 3 months ago regime change occurred in Pakistan and the previous government is taken down before completing its tenure. And the new government is bombing petroleum prices daily on the miserable people of my country. The price of petroleum was at 150 PKR almost 3 months ago, and now it is 265. This kind of inflation is unbearable for a person who doesn't have a stable source of income.
So people are finding ways to lessen the burden of oil consumption. I spent time on research on saving money on petrol.
You people may be thinking that I am a girl and how I know technical reasons for petrol consumption and measures to save petrol? The answer to this question is I made some research on this topic then verified the content and tried to explain it in an easy and ordered way.
If you want the bike to consume less petrol follow these instructions.

1: Always keep the air in tires at an average level.
The average level of air in the front tire of the bike is 40, and the air level in the back tire is slightly more than the front one, it is 55. Keeping air moderate keeps your bike away from dragging on the road and the bike won't have to exert power in running.

2: Don't push your feet on the brake paddle unintentionally.
Most people unintentionally push their feet on the brake pedal when riding a bike, which keeps the brakes lightly attached and the engine thrusts. And a person doesn't know how much power is used in this case and how it is affecting petrol consumption. It is also harmful to brake leathers. Break leathers, that can remain good for a year, they will get loose just in a few months.

3: Get the vehicle serviced on time.
Get the vehicle repaired (serviced) on time, the service money will save you on petrol. A bike is a kind of vehicle that needs a service, tuning, model oil, and filter change every 1000 kilometers. If service is not done in the time it will affect the efficiency of the engine, as well as the motorcycle, will start consuming more petrol than usual.
And another important thing is to keep the meter working to have the right information about kilometers. Sometimes it happens that the bike has a faulty meter and it is useless to tell meter information. The owner of the bike makes its service on the assumption of 1000 Km. This could be accurate sometimes but mostly not.

4: Use a standard quality air filter.
The mechanic puts in a local filter that gets destroyed and shuts off in a few weeks, and the bike starts consuming additional petrol. Local filters are cheaper but they aren't long-lasting and these are a product that increases petrol consumption when they get decrease the efficiency of their self they also affect the overall efficiency of the engine.

5: Carburetor cleaning
Carburetor air mixture should be done by a good mechanic so that the ratio of air and petrol is faultless and the mixture should be set keeping RPM + voltage in mind. It is a quite technical thing that a slum mechanic doesn't understand. And as a result, your bike is affected by this all.

6: Race liver technique.
Do not race at once, upsurge the race gradually as the speed rises. Some people have a bad habit of increasing their race by twisting their liver at once. This does not increase the speed but petrol consumption.

7: Take special precautions with the chain.
Keep the chain not too tight or too loose. Oil should always be given to the chain, it will lubricate the chain and will protect it from friction, and it has a great consequence on the proficiency of the engine.

8: Depend on engine brakes
Depend on engine brakes as an alternative to brakes, apply brakes where preferred, recurrent braking and altering gears decrease fuel competence. Pushing the brake paddles unnecessarily increases petrol consumption.

9: Always retain the clutch in a flawless state.
Always retain the clutch in a flawless state, not too tight or too wobbly, some people race additional as the clutch is tight because the bike does not move like this and the clutch box got wedged between the engine and the chain gear. And does not let the bike pick up speed well.

10: Always keep the race grip stable at one point on long drives.
The long drives usually are done using motorways and highways. On motorways, you need to run a vehicle at a fixed speed in fix line. You need to be in your recommended line if you are at a speed of 100, 120, or 150. Hence there is a need to fix your speed to control petrol exhaustion.

11: Turn the wheels to check if they are congested during the day.

Now it's time for tuning of bike or another four-wheeler. When tuning by a mechanic, open the carburetor adjustment screw and have them washed with petrol, they acquire carbon which grounds more petrol ingesting. It's really important that is ignored oftentimes.

13: When the wind is against your direction.
Wind plays a big role in petrol consumption. If the wind is in a contrasting direction, circumvent increasing the speed. Giving more speed will not affect as it should be, but your average on petrol will be affected. So try to avoid twisting race liver that time.

Honda company has more than two types of bikes in Pakistan. The mostly used bike here is a 125cc honda because of its sound, power, and speed and another bike is CD(cash deposit) 70cc. If CD consumes 1 litter/50 km the 125cc will consume 1 litter /25 kg.

And here the concept is even if you will give race using screws, 70cc will start consuming petrol like 125cc.
15: Adjust the "tut"
Adjust the "tut" in the head of the engine, i.e. the valves, keep it moveable in summer, do not be too loose, if not the sound will come from the head, in summer you must teach the mechanic to keep the tut a little loose, In the wintertime, keep an eye on this gauge with a tuft gauge.’

16: Alignment and Equilibrium
Some bikes do not have chain gear equilibrium, that is, they do not remain flawlessly round, one side slipups and they keep shaking, which makes the fuel feel more.

Even such wheels do not have equilibrium and the bike runs half crossways, where the right bike is expenses as much petrol on 60, whereas the bent bike is spending as much petrol on 50 or less.

18: Tighten the chain on both sides of the wheel.
The greatest significant point is that when you constrict the chain, ask the mechanic to tighten the chain on both sides.
The wheel misplaces its balance and the bike starts dragging to one side, and this is one of the explanations why the bike drinks more petrol because its arrangement is bent.
