My First Long Form Post On InLeo

Straight off the bat, I have to point out that it's inconvenient and uncomfortable to me to have to sit at a PC and type this.

It's so much easier to type with my thumbs on a portable mobile device, but sitting here does give me the chance to listen to YouTube videos and Big Finish Doctor Who Audio Dramas in the background.

If you still think that Colin Baker's performance as the 6th Doctor on the TV show wasn't very good, he certainly redeems his version of the character in the audio dramas and you are definitely missing out if you haven't at least given one of them a listen.

I do not have any real preference for any particular frontend to the Hive blockchain, I just want something that works when I want it to. I've seen several frontends rise and fall on my time here on Hive, so I am fully supportive of InLeo, don't get me wrong.

I also love the choice of having different frontends to choose from (decentralisation, anyone?).
I am still exploring the different options that InLeo presents on the website, and for the most part I am impressed.

Ecency has a phone app and also has Ecency waves which allows me to post content and interact a lot faster than just posting blog posts and hoping that people read them. It's a faster way to grow an audience.

3Speak also has a phone app and I love that I can record a video, take a screenshot from the video and add some text to it in the Canva app, then up load both to the Hive blockchain all from the comfort of my phone. The drawback is that there's a chance that no one will actually watch my videos, regardless of the upvotes. Where is the community?

This is why I prefer TikTok (the real reason for the ban in the USA is the rapid access to live video from the genocides in Gaza, Congo and Sudan).

PeakD is another great frontend and one that I use a lot for statistics, to check my wallet and I use HIve Engine a lot for my trading activities.

At some point I will need to upgrade my phone to something even faster still; my current phone is slow enough to be somewhat of an unusable embarrassment but it's what I have right now.

My posts usually take a few days to complete which why I type them out while I am out and about, on the go.

It's something to do while I am on a bus or a train, in transit between casual jobs I am sometimes lucky enough to pick up. It's easier to take a photo and post it to Hive via the one device with only a few steps, and with the one mobile device.

Like I said, I am willing to try different frontends and methods to getting my ideas onto the blockchain; I use what works best for me in the moment. Before Ecency there was an app called Partiko but the developer pulled out of the project and the bugs just became worse and worse over time.

Which front ends work best for you? Are you an InLeo loyalist or do you use a mixture of frontends like I do?

(There are no wrong answers here).

I'll leave this hear for now as I have to do the dishes. Chuckle.

Thank you for reading.

Until next time treat people with, and insist on for yourself, dignity and respect.

Shaidon

Hi! Nice to see you are testing Inleo, everyone has their preference but all the feedback is necessary and the only way to actually know is trying it.

Comes to my attention you would like an app, and Inleo, while doesn't have a mobile app, you can enter the browser, it will show you a message to download app, or you can do it from the browsers menu, and you will be have it ready available to use on your phone.

Inleo doesn't want a mobile app on the store for different reasons, but it's working on a responsive site that is just an easy to use as an app on mobile. It has drafts as well so you can work on a post on different moments.

And the main menu is threads, which it's just like a twitter, it is open to any kind of content, at any time, as many threads as you wanna make.

And I read in your comment something about ecency paying on Hive and HBD... the same happens here, as you can see, leo.voter for example, it gives a regular vote, and on top of that you get the Leo. It works the same, the Leo is an extra so you are earning more if the people that curates your posts has Leo staked.

I hope it clarifies some things, if you have any feedback, suggestions, or questions, let me know!

Thank you so much for your helpful reply. I wasn’t sure how being paid in Leo worked exactly, but I am starting to stake Leo so that hopefully my upvotes there will have some added weight.

Finally, Shaidon is around... Well everyone has their preference, I love Ecency, for the same reasons, it's pretty fast for interactions... Inleo seems to be big and I remember asking why they don't just have an app and perhaps it would be popular... I got an answer that they prefer the Web platform... It's great and they have the threads, I just wish they would build an app... But hey, each project has it's path

I just find it it easier to use Ecency at this point. While I like the idea of earning Leo with InLeo, Ecency pays me with Hive / HP / HBD directly.

Yh me too Shaidon but I also love the idea of Leo Tokens...👍😂

I got a good upvote from leo.voter with this post.

😂😂😂yesssss... As long as Leo Voter Curators like it ... We don't care who unfollowed you 😂😂😂

I had someone unfollow me because of this post. Strange.

Wait really.. I'm pretty sure they're an Inleo person and was not happy about it... It could be anything though... As long as you were genuine it's ok Shaidon

They use Ecency. But my post wasn't anti InLeo. Every frontend has their pros and cons.

Absolutely Shaidon every single Frontends has the good and bad perhaps it could be for another reason
