I love those last few weeks when you are nearly at a target 😍.

How are your savings plans going? Do you have any side gigs?

Saving is still going well everything I planned on saving is still saved and the safety margins were kinda big I guess so all expenses and allowance accounts are slowly creeping up too, gotta remove some there every now and then I think.. We did treat ourselves to a nice dinner out yesterday, was well worth it too!

I do have a side hustle, but then again I sometimes don't know what my side gigs and main gigs are anymore haha. Working on an e-learning right now to get people to better understand their mortgage and possibly help out going for the execution only option. Currently doing a lot of animating and structuring the last bits, next is voice over.

Reason I got involved in this was that my main business isn't as scalable and during covid I became very aware of uncertainty of income in situations like that. So I guess it's a spread of risks too, but there's a lot of time going in to it making it feel just as much main as anything else.

Splinterlands play and renting out has been good to me too lately, think that has a bright future, as well as the whole play to earn genre.

Hello. How do you determine what amount to rent your cards for?

Hey, that's a great question and I think the in-game interface is kinda lacking in that regard.

I use peakmonsters.com, there you can bulk select all the cards you'd like to rent and load the most competitive price at the moment with one button. It also gives you the ROA (return on asset) to determine the relative earning potential compared to the current value of the card.

There's still a lot of development for rentals going on. Basically the start of season is cheaper compared to the end because of the recent changes. But the tools are great for now. I do think renting full decks for a certain league during a whole season would be best going forward. Renter knows what to expect to play with and what league to end up in and the owner knows what return to expect. Till then this is as good as it gets :-)

Thanks for the tips. I'll consider it

you're welcome! let me know if you have any questions, happy to help :-)

That can happen in a side-gig!

We had a meal out over the weekend, too, it was lovely! Also saw the latest James Bond, very entertaining.

Great news with your savings 😍
