It's evident that just shouting and saying hey I'm a independent #hive #witness who's running their node in the most decentralized way possible isn't enough to garner support. I either build something tangible or just resign myself to the low ranks of witnessing. It's that or im not shouting hard enough.

I think you need to shout more.
I think being on InLeo a little bit of time every day would help spread the word.
Also maybe a new post through the InLeo interface as it will get more eyeballs.
You could also get involved with a project. So the project will talk about you. (We could use some one to build some servers for us)
I personally feel we need some top 20 witness changes.

Yeah I've been very quiet recently will just general life being an arse.
Appreciate the support, I deffo want to do more but I have such a dumb issue of getting overwhelmed and stressed if I start working with people.. It's never worked out so far. always doubting my ability and all that dumb stuff.
I even thought of a new 'dumb' idea of making NFTs that equal a certain amount of HP delegation, so if you own the NFT you get that delegation for as long as you own it.
It makes more sense in the context of a larger idea I have. xD
Yeah you need to not worry so much.
Realize this is all new and there will be a lot of start and stops.
So I know its hard but you have to shut down the "pretender" thoughts and realize you have skills.
Having the top 20 makes it a bit more challenging, have to do a lot more than just run the node unfortunately or fortunately depending how you look at it !BBH
Yeah running just a node certainly isn't enough, I did have a public API node too but it's down atm pending actual full release of the new software. Got plently of ideas on what more I can do.. just being able to actually do them is the hard part for me. =p
