To me the main focus of SEO should be just writing what others are talking about, but not necessarily blogging about.. shit that multiple Facebook friends are talking about, but it itself isn't worthy of a larger discussion... But people will still google for when they wonder why they keep seeing people talk about it. That's what the SEO game is really about.. I've seen quite a few posts from hive pop up in my Google results, often from the various frontends, even my project.. probably because it's content that's on 20+ different websites (each frontend). I wonder tho, at what point does the number of frontends start counting against SEO. But hey, get it while it's hot!!
I also wonder if canonical links could help here also... linking the original source to the frontend that it was posted on, etc..
