The Riddle

The neighbourhood is closed. The parties have known each other for many years and yet it is not quite clear who lives where. The neighborhood is manageable, everybody knows that, but how manageable? All the residents have is an old map that shows what the neighborhood originally looked like.

Beautifully idyllic... The neighborhood that borders directly above the big river has changed over the last years. What does it look like today? One is unsure about that. All in all, we know quite a lot and yet little about our own neighborhood. Yet everyone living here would wish they knew more about the others. Maybe you can help? I will gladly share my observations with you:

Artur is very well known in the neighborhood. He calls house number 4 and 21 his own. But not only that. Artur's little brother also has two house numbers. One is definitely number 14, the other one is unclear which one it is exactly. It is only known that this is at least one, but not more than 4 house numbers away from one of his brother's house numbers. Funfact: People call this house number Jackpot. Why? I do not know either. I wanted to ask Sergey before but never got around to it. Sergey is a direct neighbor of Artur and knows some insider stories. What I remember about Sergey is that he isn't a direct neighbor of Sarah. At barbecues together, the two always make fun of the oldest inhabitant of the neighborhood. The one who was there first and yet always comes last. It is obvious. The first one is one of the corner residents, because he lives in one of the corners and has only 3 direct neighbors.

The residents in the neighborhood have an interesting peculiarity. They are either big or small. There is not a normal big one. With siblings there is one small and one big. Nobody knows what the reason for this is. In house number 15 lives someone who claims a copier is his father. A really weird bird. I only know that his name starts with the same initial letter as the first inhabitant and that he has a little brother who does not live in this town.
House numbers can follow each other directly and yet it is possible that the residents are not direct neighbors.

Nina is the only one besides Artur and his little brother who has two house numbers. One of these house numbers is single-digit. Between this house number and one of Artur are 4 other numbers. Nina's other property is right next to teddy.

teddy is one of the most interesting inhabitants. He probably has more information about this community than all the others together. I had also got him to send me some of his records, but unfortunately I do not manage to decode them as he described. When I asked him for help he made fun and sent me only the following e-mail:

What should I do with it? I generally don't know if there is any sense behind it. Why does he always have to approach everything so circumstantially... so completely without reason. But further in the records:

I'm not sure if nadine and sarah live in the neighborhood or lena and leonie. But two of them are always just visiting here. Leonie is often seen near house number 12. Elise lives at number 18, right next to peter. peter is not a direct neighbor of Nina. Elise is something like the tattletale in the village. She gave me some information: The rich Ducki (she calls him that all the time, I don't know his real name...) lives right next to Nina. He bought his house after the neighborhood was actually already full. But due to a death he was able to get hold of his low house number. Elise also told us that diana - she lives in the house furthest away from the oldest inhabitant - only moved to the area because she wanted something from Fabian. Fabian was found dead a few months later and the whole community was shocked. It was rumored here and there that diana must have had something to do with this. Nevertheless she still lives in the area.

Yasmin often visits House 8, where her old school friend Wiegand lives, whom she has visited for years despite his strange name. Mine is the big sister of josh. xaya lives in the row closest to the big river and at the same time in one row with Elise, just like her direct neighbor Nina. There are a total of 4 residents who have a number in their name. I had actually written an email to teddy and asked him how it happened, but he just babbled something with keys and sent me this cryptic SMS:

I did not understand it until today and I don't know if he just wants to take me for a ride. Maybe he laughs at me because I try to decipher his senseless games. That reminds me, there is no resident who has a P as initial letter. I thought I better tell you this before I forget.

Anyway, I mean, I picked up the name 2Mad once, so I guess that can be true. I don't know where he lives... But I just noticed I had a short note. Between w and A is I and I mean I stands for Isaac... But what w and A stand for I really can't say anymore. Herold is the only big one with an H as first letter. Nobody in the neighborhood is called Yasmin, but she should visit artur often. NINE is actually 9 and has only 5 direct neighbors. The corner dweller, unknown until the last moment, is called nugat. After I found out who he was, I could at least estimate the rough outline of the neighborhood. nugat is the direct neighbor of nadine, who in turn is the direct neighbor of nugat and little harald. little harald loves to live on the edge, so he can always look beyond the edge of his plate. He says the guy from house number 13 could also live in the water by name.

Teddy made me a little note which I can only read when I have already received some information. As always he did not spare me with his jokes.

A resident whose name is a number is a direct neighbor of diana. In direct neighborhood of Elise lives peter, who very often visits 2HO at the other end of the neighborhood. A strange name, but a very nice guy. But I was advised not to ask him where his name comes from. 2HO is said to be an acquaintance of Celsius, one of the most famous artists from the neighboring town.

House number 30 is located next to 22,31,29,38 and additionally adjoins 21,23,39,37. On this basis we can finally answer our first question completely. I also remember that till lives in a house number that is smaller than 19 and larger than 7. Unfortunately I do not know more exactly. But I do know that Waldemar has a single-digit house number.

Dagobert, whom many only know by his nickname, is a direct neighbor of sarah. I remember that Elise claimed that ROT lives in house number 13, but according to teddy this is not true. teddy had sent me this note about house number 13:
