It seems that I've read all of Facebook. It really is crap these days. Full of irrelevant ads. Fact is though that you can reach a big audience there.

Yeah, there are millions of people there. It's been years since I visited the platform.
I need to stay in touch with some people there as they won't use anything else. I am pragmatic about the apps I use.
Yeah, that happens. Most of my friends and even my siblings are into it.
I don't even remember my username, so much there irrelevant and waste of time. MAU is immense though.

That is true, my wife runs her social media side thorough facebook and it works. just have to be careful with it and navigate it.
I've closed my facebook account for this reason, nothing but trash there so why bother.
I'm not going to shut myself off from friends. I can't dictate what services they use.
Yeah. I've not used Facebook in years but I really miss how easy it was to get engagement for things like #the100dayproject which I've just started here. Here there's very little engagement on #art or crafts in general.
I wish we could get more communities to move to Hive, but it's an uphill struggle. My music community is on FB, so I have to be too, but I don't use it for much else.
I started #the100daychallenge today and know I'd get decent engagement if I posted on FB but I just don't want to.

You can, but I don't get around to reading everything on my feed.
Not a problem. Just having a list of people who are around and happy to be tagged will give me a boost.
Never ran out of posts, but probably didn't look at nearly enough either. Of course we all have different amount of friends and keep up with reading all the posts to whatever we happen to do so.
I only add real friends rather than trying for big numbers, so that may be the issue.
