Yeah. I've not used Facebook in years but I really miss how easy it was to get engagement for things like #the100dayproject which I've just started here. Here there's very little engagement on #art or crafts in general.
I wish we could get more communities to move to Hive, but it's an uphill struggle. My music community is on FB, so I have to be too, but I don't use it for much else.
Never ran out of posts, but probably didn't look at nearly enough either. Of course we all have different amount of friends and keep up with reading all the posts to whatever we happen to do so.

It's almost two years since I joined the Lion's Den (INLEO). Heard about Project Blank, LeoAds, LeoLegends (NFTs on Leo), and others. We were here when Threads was first released as a test feature on the old UI in August of 2022 which made us excited about having what TM called 'Twitter on the Blockchain.' I loved it and has since become my place to go when I'm here onchain.
We heard about We experienced using the LeoMobile among other things.
Project Blank prompted the launching of the Alpha UI early last year where Threads was the main feature, and then the surprising twist of rebranding which opened up the UI as a full-pledged frontend for all types of content with the addition of community pages where users can post to.
In short, we witnessed how the project (and community) evolved and transformed into what it is today.

I wasn't aware of it. I just think there are dozens of witnesses and running dozens of SQL servers for Hive. If there is only 1 SQL server then it's a very high risk for Hive.

I already got the last INLEO AMA and the Town Hall lined up for posting later today, and will attempt to keep up with the relevant livestreams moving forward - at least for a trial period.

If the nature of argument is not on frivolous topics, I would calm both parties down politely. I would find a way to intervene and settle the argument. I have a time frame to do this before walking away if there was no headway
The personalities would also play a role in the sense that I can't intervene in the argument of people that appear violent. My safety is paramount to me. I will walk away if my safety is not guaranteed.

The cause of the argument and the people involved will determine my involvement too. If they are people I think they won't listen, I will just walk away.

It seems that I've read all of Facebook. It really is crap these days. Full of irrelevant ads. Fact is though that you can reach a big audience there.
Yeah, there are millions of people there. It's been years since I visited the platform.
I need to stay in touch with some people there as they won't use anything else. I am pragmatic about the apps I use.

We’ve just released our own API for delegation payouts
So after today, we will no longer be on HiveSQL for anything major. The service has been down for 8 days+ and no fix in sight
Highly recommend Hivers take a look at who they vote for in both the DHF and Witnesses.
Thank you for a great initiative, Inleo knows how to be self-sufficient and rely on their own potential.
We need to decentralise such technology so we don't rely on a single server being up. I know other projects also hit similar issues.

HiveSQL is a service that collects all the infos from the blockchain to make it easily to search and create overviews.
This is a time saver for all the apps who use it. It's expensive to run and afaik it runs very solid.
I don't know what happend with that downtime but think of a replay of all this blockchain data into a structured database - it might take some time.
I heard that the HiveSQL was hacked :(

We’ve already integrated our own SQL instance inside of LeoNode for #hive
We’re planning to clone this and launch a new service and offer to run it at 50% of the current DHF proposal for HiveSQL
This is not to “put HiveSQL down” but rather, to get an alternative up and running for the good of decentralizing hive infrastructure
Yeah, the service is a great source for many apps. Dev's love this, as you find data a lot faster than searching the whole blockchain.
To have this even more redundant, it will need some extra funding.
That's good to hear and yes, that needs to be done so that when one is down, at least there are others to keep things running.

My Valentine's day gift was a cup of parfait and a letter from my little sister. It was one of the best gift.
I was surprised at the messaged she passed,through the letter. It got me so emotional.
