I have grand ideas to actually write a book at some point (something linked to photography and insects) and I am under no illusion that the quality of my writing needs to improve.
I think that it is worth going through the process, working out what the overall goal is, putting together an image or two and testing a chapter. Who knows, you might really enjoy it and move to chapter two. :)
