I tend to upvote newer or smaller users with a bigger upvote, but I also upvote some of the older users with a decent upvote too.
I just read the comment and vote on it - pretty much everyone gets the same, though some good ones will get more. I don't know who is new or old, as reputation isn't a good indicator, but if the comment is the kind that I would vote, it gets voted. The only exception is the people who I classify as disingenuous - who get nothing.
I put all of my tokens on one account that trails various others. I have my baby account also vote behind me on comments, as it adds LEO and other tokens to them too, whereas my own account is just Hive.
Accidents happen and sometimes I randomly just vote larger too. It is going to be fun when Hive is at 5 or ten dollars.

Sounds great in theory, coin at $5 but there would need to be some serious rejigging of the voting system or it would crash the platform.
It would give so many people the ability to print overnight Millionaires. I think the $10 - $20 mark is the danger zone.
But who knows, what will happen.

It definitely creates some problems, especially among some of the staked larger users who are hellbent on maximizing their own stake. Unfortunately, it has happened before, but this time around, we will have 2.5 free downvotes a day :)
