Many are aware the mainstrea media is nothing more than a propaganda arm and completely full of crap. However, some of these same people fail to apply it to the financial media. For some reason they believe they are to be trustworthy.
In this video I discuss how there are agendas on the financial media too. Those who were in cryptocurrency for a long time understand how slanted things can be. For years Bitcoin and crypto were attacked without mercy.

For me they attack cryptocurrencies because they came to break a hegemony of many years and they do not want anyone to intervene in their business.
I think it is more who is paying the bill. The mainstream financial media is heavily tied to Wall Street and the banks in particular. So anything to help them out is what they are going to do.
It is not really a coordinated effort as much as you can see the agenda seeping through.

Despite us not liking the mainstream media, it's still one of the best places to get news from. Their political bias is apparent and I know there are even fake articles being tossed around. However, what is the alternative? There really isn't any other alternative that is good in my opinion for news. The finance section might have alternatives though.

Is it really news if it is slanted? What if there is only a portion of "news" they are showing you?

Well, it's the travel of information that is key. There aren't really any good alternatives outside of using these sources. In some cases, I have seen some people use this as a basis for content and then do their own research into the topic.

What is said in the mainstream media, people usually give it importance as if that's the truth. I think we will remain in the dark if we trust the mainstream media. Most of the time, what they say is not what's happening. They have their own agenda. And we know how they talk about crypto for the long term.

Anyone involved in crypto obviously learned how things can be tilted. A lot of the FUD we saw was pretty much made up.
