Elon Musk was interviewed today and answered a variety of questions. One thing he said which caught my attention is the fact that he feels we are going to see a population collapse. The fact that fertility rates fell over the last 5 decades is showing a clear trend.
In this video I discuss how his concept of the "Tesla Bot" is in keeping with this idea. We are going to require a great deal more automation to maintain productivity and economic output. For this reason, labor is going to be less of a economic force than it is today. How does society adapt to this?
