Think of a company like Amazon or Alibaba being fully end to end automation. That means from order to delivery, it is all done without humans in the process.
Another is to look at the Hive Develop Fund. Those monies are distributed autonomously based upon the voting of the community. Any change in voting is adjusted.
So from proposal to funding is done without people.

Wow well that seems rather explanatory, I believe this system thriving in full massive scale is bound to change the world exponentially.

It will be evolutionary in terms of the progress i.e. Amazon automation more of its operation, but when it reaches critical mass, it will be really big.
I think we will look back in 10 years at today and things will appear archaic.
