I am of the belief that the governments are going to push control of crypto too far that it moves developers to code entirely new privacy features onto what they are building.
This is a move I believe will backfire on the establishment.

I do believe it will backfire but I don't know why they want to butt in so much. I don't see how this will cause people to rethink. In fact the next time Elon or some coin pumps like crazy, you can expect more crypto buying.

Might see a lot of people start investing in those privacy coins like Monero.
