My teeth are completely shot! I have not been to a dentist in ages. My family do have genetic dental problems.
I always ensure that I have plenty cloves and and tea bags (tanic acid in black tea pulls out infections) on hand for the occasional abscesses. I get them when the seasons change.
I ain't the Beverly Hillbilly's granny, but it nice that I have a younger sister that is a root-worker. Saves me lots of time visiting the Veterans Administration (VA). Time is money after all!

I hope technology changes things a great deal going forward. It is an industry that still operates, in many ways, like it did when I was a kid.

OMG!! I can go another 10 years without seeing the dentist again!! I'll just HODL for now!
LOL well as I said, it is only for one particular condition that the researchers tested for.
But I am surprised that dental technology has not advanced further. They are still doing much the say way they did 40 years ago.
I guess it is a very difficult field to make progress in.

Yea.. I was astounded to hear when becoming an adult that certain dental procedures are considered cosmetic and therefore not covered by the insurance you’ve been paying for all this time.
Aswell as the fact that employers are
mandated to provide you with health&dental ins. But they are required to turn over your a percent of your pay before you have anything to say..

Hey! Good morning TaskMaster!
Yea, I was realizing that 2 weeks ago when I felt like I was on top of the world, raking in the yeilds.. I wasn’t concerned at that time with producing good content, I was focused on making money, and hyping those projects.
Since then, I have realized I have everything I need to be successful right here on hive, and if I want to invest in a promising DeFi start-up, I’m already doing so with CUB.. so I really don’t need to open myself up to insult or injury.
That is my view also. People are looking outside the system to chase things down when, for me, I find it all here. We still have a lot of development to be done but we are moving in the right direction.
We are suppose to get details on 3Speak's decentralized video storage system this week. Hopefully we will also get a timeline on that.
It is very exciting to see some of these projects come to life.

Seriously.. it is really exciting to be standing in the middle of this while all of the developments is popping up all around, and the fact that this community is constantly looking for user input makes it all that much more exciting. I'm used to using systems that have already been built by centralized authorities, and never having any say in the infrastructure.
It would help the old people quite a bit if they could. Some of them have some teeth issues and it would make their lives a bit easier.

Probably because dentists would be out of work so they delayed any progress on that end. People wouldn't care about their appointments as much.

That could be true too.
If people didnt need to go for cleanings, that would be a major drain on their incomes.
And dentists are the cheapest ones you will ever meet.
