Sure, but it has to be productive and insightful, at times the users are too focused on numbers, I guess it should be as organic as possible. I am not trying to blame anyone—just a thought.
We really badly need a Twitter kind of interface. I am happy that you guys have already advanced in this direction. So more power to you.
It's the comment or engagement that creates a web, a network, and ultimately a social media in Hive. So let's strengthen it.
100%. I also think the new Threads feature will have a dramatically positive effect on engagement on LeoFinance. When we release it, it will also drastically improve the impact LMT has on LeoFinance - it already has a massive impact and this will amplify it!
We haven’t unveiled it yet but it will launch shortly after Community Pages

That is true. The number focus can take people in a misguided direction.
We do need quality also. That is why the Leo engagement league is vital. It takes factors into consideration other than just number of comments.

Most of us do both… we comment seriously with lots of info and at the same time have some fun here in a few comments.
The engagement league does filter it out @milaan
Let's also remember that people could be arriving to this page as a result of search engine results. As fun as it is for us to discuss certain things (especially CANDIES), the visitors from the outside came looking for content they could use. We need to keep them in mind as well.

This is why I stay away from mobile apps-- my commenting would keep me tied to the mobile for a long time before I could go to the next comment. So I save commenting and replying to the larger devices.

I mix my devices. It just depends what I am doing.
Mostly work on laptop,
iPad for Hive and mobile for LF as other ones don’t seem to work good.

Try this: find a few posts to comment on first, engage as much as you can in those posts, and make DCMLB the last post where you engage. This has been working better for my overall engagement game.

Thank you and I shall remember that. I'm amazed checking my stats on LeoFinance, 230 comments done yesterday which is the highest so far for me (lowest was 73).
I usually reply first to those who engage on my own posts, after which I come by here at DCMLB, then go silent for a while to create my own content.
After publishing the day's post, I go around Hive, in different communities where I enjoy, engage there too and then back to LF and here at DCMLB, lol!

It looks as if your plan works well for your style, and that's good. My concern was engaging in a way which ends up being limiting overall even if you have the stats. Not all engagement is equal, but you're doing well there too. Keep it going!
