I think the chance that regulators get crypto wrong is great. They are not remotely clued in on all that is taking place but they exist to support an outdated system.
So yeah regulation is going to be onerous and destructive. That is why we must just develop outside of them.

A politician here in Brazil submitted a proposal for regulation and people didn't even know how to start the discussion. It was embarrassing lol

Well the regulators themselves tend to follow those politicians. Do you really trust what they say? I just see them being told one thing and doing it.
