Like any conference there were engaging people with their presentations. The CEO of pussy.finance was hilarious without meaning to be funny. It was one of those things where you had to be there.
Whether intentional or not, the double-entendres were legion. Even the interviewer was like a member of the cast of the Carol Burnett Show trying to maintain character in a sketch without guffawing.
Then their were the presentations with folks that spoke in a droning monotone. Not their fault. Some people just speak that way. I had a history teacher like that in school. His voice lulled me to sleep at every lecture.

I did not actually shill CUB directly. One of the developers from Polygon was being interviewed and I chatted that I was looking forward to a possible Polygon Wrapped LEO (pLEO).
Sometimes a person can get blocked on these type of virtual conferences if they get too spammy. Since it was a segment about Polygon, I took the opportunity.
In another segment a great deal of my comments were being shared on the stream screen as they were pertinent to the conversation. That lady executive from Bitcoin.com must have really liked my comments!
I plan to be involved again today. Maybe I will be appointed an ambassadorship by Leo Finance. No need for anyone to call me excellency. I am a South Central Pennsylvania liberal redneck and do not go in much for titles. 🤣

At the moment the price of Brent is with a slight decrease, standing at around 74.31 minus 0.09%.
Energy is still pumping higher. The rest of the commodity world is showing some signs of possibly rolling over. Not energy. It is still going strong.
We will see how long this goes on. The rig count is increasing but at a much slower pace than the declines last year.

I stayed at a BNB in NYC when attending an NFT Conference last year. The keys were in a lock box outside the building and the combination was sent to me by e-mail.

It is no surprise to me. China is looking to be, if not already, a major player on the world stage. It would be nice if we could cooperate with them more but there is that sense of nationalism that many times precludes such cooperation.
Look at us in the United States with the creation of Space Force. Is this in anticipation of a war for cosmic dominance? We humans may have advanced in the fields of science and technology, but still adhere to our historical feudal cultures.

What do you think guys? I keep hearing from many LMT folks about how Cub Finance is the safest investment among DeFi Projects. And I totally agree with it because I have tried my hands on several Polygon DeFi. Got rugged once. Cub Finance seems to be the most promising deal so far because I trust Khal. Since, I am invested in Leo, it makes more sense to use it as compared to other platforms which do not have an active and interactive social community as we have here. Moreover, polygon is coming to Cub Finance. In future, more such chains will be integrated to the Cub making it a multi chain DeFi Aggregator with Auto compound vaults.
I recently wrote about DeFi Insurace after I studied how Autofarm (future model of Cub Finance) is providing these safegaruds to the its investors. Do you think that could solve the trust problem and save investor's future from rugpulls and smart contract hacks? Do you think Cub Finance should adopt some of these safeguards (Insurance Protocols) as an addon to its integrity among outside investors?

I think people need to focus upon a core. Many use disversifcation as a way to be lazy. This means they do not put the time into learning about what they are holding. This leads them to believing that holding different assets can protect them.

I think it will be a full service financial arena. We are going to see innovation in this area that we didnt see elsewhere. Since we are moving away from a controlled system, innovation should be much greater.

There will be battles for dominating the market, human nature I surmise. It is going to be a hard upward battle. The entire concept is new and is already seeing push back from traditional financial institutions and governments.
Currently what we call DeFi is not really decentralized at all. Centralized exchanges still dominate the space. This is changing slowly with new decentralized exchanges popping up. I am optimistic for the future yet am also realistic.
Gas fees will increase as we have seen in a small way with BSC as usage increases. This is why it is important that we have gotten in early. First person to the table gets the best cut of steak!

Back in the day I used to hate spam comments and I would even downvote them or try to explain that what they are doing is wrong and so on. But lets be real for a minute, spammers don't give a flying F about what's considered abusive behavior, as long as they can squeeze some profits they will continue spamming away. Only people with big downvotes have a chance to teach them a lesson. As time passed I've learned that it can be pretty funny to reply to such comments in the most idiotic way possible, especially if others join in on the fun.
Even if something is annoying there are ways to turn it into something that brings smiles to people and that's a lesson that I learned for the first time on Hive.

Like you said, the chopping is just a style thing. There's no right or wrong and I don't want you to feel like I'm being critical or anything.
I removed a few citations to competing news sites and just tried to keep it to the massive, broad crypto sites. This is me just thinking about giving away SEO value, but I know there's also a legal argument to be made...
I'd say you should just keep publishing on your blog exactly how you've been doing it and for the final @crypto-guides post, I'll make small edits so it's not 100% copied from you.
In the future we should make some proper editorial decisions around style and citations, but for now I just want to focus on getting the content published and out there to try and see some results.

I feel if there were more avenues where green energy was generated, miners would have used that. They use whatever they get.
We use gas-fueled cars because there are not enough EVs available. Once they are, we will use them. It's that simple I think.

In the USA. Many families over 4 million are at risk of losing their estimated homes, if that could be more than 4 million or more cases.
The real estate industry will suffer a lot and families will also see what will happen to the millions of defaults and if there will be a way to combat it.
There are a lot of people not paying rent nor their mortgages. This is why the economy is going to be strong idea is absurd. When that is pulled back, you will see millions put out of their homes/apartments as well as a lot of supply hitting the market.
Essentially they have to keep this in place or else bad things will happen.
That is why intervention is often very difficult.

If GPU demand is down, it only makes sense that hashrates are down. I havent looked but it would stand to reason that BTC (and others) hashrates are declining as miners are shut down.

I think the chance that regulators get crypto wrong is great. They are not remotely clued in on all that is taking place but they exist to support an outdated system.
So yeah regulation is going to be onerous and destructive. That is why we must just develop outside of them.

I am not sure if this is a good thing or not. I guess from the overall industry standpoint, it is beneficial. However, I wouldnt want to be one who is donating to be out there in the open (to either party).

The Fed is really between a rock and a hardplace. We are seeing a lot of things taking place that never were approached before.
The problem with all who look at the inflation situation, they overlook technology. The Fed knows it cant get sustained inflation but they have no idea why.
