Its impressive range positions it among the top plug-in hybrids for those who value both electric efficiency and long-distance driving flexibility.
Making waves in the plug-in hybrid market, BYD has just unveiled its sleek Sealion 07, which is claimed to offer an impressive 820-mile range alongside a suite of intelligent features.
The new Sealion 07 DM-i Intelligent Driving Version is now available in three variants priced between $26,300 and $31,800.
It follows BYD’s Ocean Aesthetics design language, using subtle wave and water drop elements for a clean, modern look.
SUV debuts drone landing pad with one-touch features
The BYD Sealion 07 is the fourth vehicle in the Ocean Series, joining the DOLPHIN, SEAL, and SEAL U. With a length of 15.8 feet and a wheelbase of 9.6 feet, it offers up to 312 miles of WLTP range. The vehicle also provides solid performance, reaching a top speed of 134 mph and accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
A key highlight is the world’s first retractable drone landing pad, designed for seamless integration between the vehicle and drones. It supports dynamic takeoff and landing, automatic charging, and one-touch control. Additional features include follow-me filming, dual air-ground photography, and fast charging.
All variants of the Sealion 07 come standard with BYD’s DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system. The 150 Smart Navigation and 150 Smart Navigation+ models are equipped with the DiPilot 100 (God’s Eye C), which utilizes a triple-camera setup for core driver-assist functions.
